摘要： The present invention relates to a reverse-flow prevention device for a fuel tank of an automobile which is provided between a filler port and the fuel tank in the automobile. The reverse-flow prevention device of the invention comprises a valve body of which circular interior space is divided into three to six sector-shaped regions and which includes a support bar provided in alignment with the division lines, and three to six valve discs having configurations to be closely fitted in the sector-shaped regions of the valve body and rotating around the support bar. Bearings of the support bar for rotation of the valve discs are provided with rotation-restriction sections which control the valve discs to rotate within a range of not more than 90.degree. as well as in one direction.

摘要： A mud saver valve for insertion within the drill string to retain mud in the drill pipe preventing the mud column from flowing past the valve when pumping is interrupted. The mud saver valve includes an internal check valve which permits increased flow of mud upward through the valve when a predetermined downhole pressure is reached. The increased flow of the check valve prevents a blow-out of the plug spear in the event sudden upward pressure is encountered. The check valve forms a part of the plug spear which is removable from the mud saver valve to facilitate the running of wireline tools.

摘要： A reverse circulation deep hole rock bit that includes a drill bit connector tube telescopically extended into a drill bit housing to cooperatively form a part of a radial inner fluid channel for cuttings to flow axially outwardly and a radial outer annular clearnace space, a plurality of angularly spaced pressurized fluid passage that open to the annular space and a check valve in each fluid fluid passage to permit inward flow of fluid, but to block fluid flow in the opposite direction. A plurality of angularly spaced cutter arms have arcuate tubular segments secured to axial and radial outer portions of the arms while a radially inner tubular skirt is secured to or abuts against the axial outer portions of the arms. The combination of segments, arms and skirt are secured to the housing to extend inwardly thereof with the skirt forming part of the radial inner return channel while each passage opens to a separate chamber angularly between adjacent arms to direct pressurized fluid to flow between the rotary cutters that are mounted by the arms and convey cuttings outwardly through the radial inner fluid channel.

摘要： A check valve is disclosed, which comprises a hollow cylindrical valve body and a pair of substantially semicircular symmetrical valve plates. The valve body has a pair of ear-like bearing projections projecting in a diametrically opposed relation to each other from an open end. The valve plates each have a straight edge with an integral pivot pin provided on one end portion and an integral bearing portion provided at the other end. The two valve plates are joined together by inserting the pivot pin of each of them through the bearing portion of the other. The pivot pins of the joined valve plates are fitted in the bearing projections of the valve body such that the valve plates can be pivotally moved when they are opened and closed.

The valve has an elongated outer hollow body made of thermoplastic material, said body being adapted to be telescoped for a substantial portion of its length into the end of the elastomeric tube. The valve is retained in the tube and sealed thereto by a formation comprising a flange having a first radially outwardly directed transverse portion integrally connected to the main part of the body of the valve and a second sleeve-like part coaxial of the main portion of the valve body, spaced from the outer surface thereof, and integrally connected at one of its ends to the outer edge of the first portion of the flange, the main portion of the body of the valve and the second portion of the flange forming an annular space adapted to receive the end of the tube therewithin, the outer free end of the second part of the flange being adapted to be deformed by being heated and thrust radially inwardly so as to secure the tube and seal it to the valve body.

The arrangement includes a groove cut into a cylindrical surface of a coupling member that enters an annular slot therein that shall contain the seal means to be disposed therein. The rigid non-extrusion ring is screwed or threaded through the groove and into the annular slot.

摘要： A check valve assembly is disclosed. A hollow valve body is provided with respective upstream and downstream ends. A valve seat is located on the interior of the valve body and has an annular seating surface directed toward the downstream end of the valve body. The seating surface is inclined at an acute angle relative to the centerline of the valve body. A poppet element is provided which has a circumferential surface with a relatively narrow neck proximate the valve seat. The circumferential surface of the poppet element on the downstream side of the neck has a frustoconical configuration. A deformable resilient O-ring circumscribes the poppet element at the neck. The outer diameter of the O-ring is greater than the inner diameter of the annular seating surface of the valve seat so that the flow of fluid through the valve body from the downstream end to the upstream end presses the O-ring against the seating surface to close the valve.
