    摘要: A valve assembly adapted for use in oil and gas operations. In one aspect, the valve assembly includes a valve body defining an internal region, an inlet passageway, and an outlet passageway, the inlet and outlet passageways extending into the internal region; a valve seat connected to the valve body and defining a fluid passageway; a clapper extending within the internal region and defining an annular groove; and a seal extending within the annular groove of the clapper and adapted to sealingly engage the valve seat. In an example embodiment, the clapper is actuable between an open configuration, in which fluid flow is permitted through the fluid passageway; and a closed configuration, in which the seal sealingly engages the valve seat to at least partially restrict fluid flow through the fluid passageway.

    摘要: An apparatus includes a frame and a damper blade moveable between a closed position and an open position. A biasing member is coupled to the frame and exerts a biasing force to urge the damper blade towards a substantially closed position. A magnet coupled to the damper blade exerts a magnetic force to pull the damper blade from the substantially closed position to the closed position. When the damper blade is in the open position and an upstream airflow pressure falls below a first predetermined threshold, the biasing member moves the damper blade to the substantially closed position, and the magnetic force then pulls the damper blade to the closed position, automatically inhibiting airflow through the frame. When the damper blade is in the closed position and an upstream airflow pressure is increased to a second predetermined threshold, the damper blade is released from the closed position.

    摘要: Methods, systems and devices for a check valve for deterring intrusion into downspouts include a body member having at least a first orifice and are configured to mount on a downspout, where the downspout is adapted to promote fluid flow in a single direction. Pivotably mounted on the body members are various valve members. The mounting arrangement can provide a closed position that substantially occludes the first orifice and a range of open positions when the valve member is pivoted with respect to the body member to open in the flow direction. In addition, at least one additional orifice can be provided in either the body member or the valve member to permit fluid flow irrespective of the position of the valve member.
