Abstract:
A miniaturised device for producing high pressure in a fluid imposes stringent requirements on the manufacturing process. The device according to the invention consists of a hollow piston displaceably mounted in a cylinder and a valve member which is guided by the hollow piston and mounted so as to be axially movable relative to the hollow piston. The valve member is arranged at one end of the hollow piston inside or immediately in front of the end of the hollow piston. The device is used in a mechanically operated high pressure atomiser. This consists of a two part housing which comprises a pump housing with nozzle, a blocking mechanism, a spring housing with spring, a non-pressurised storage container for the fluid and a mechanical counter integrated in the spring housing. The valve operates without any auxiliary force, closes very rapidly and is sealed tight against high pressure. The atomiser is safe and simple to operate and environmentally friendly. The fluid is metered extremely accurately. The atomiser is used, for example, to produce an inhalable aerosol of a liquid medicament without the use of propellant gas, at 320 bar, for example.
Abstract:
Rechargeable dispensers, in particular spray bottle dispensers including at least one chemical reservoir for recharging the spray bottle dispenser. Preferably, a plurality of separate chemical reservoirs containing chemical concentrate are provided within the spray bottle dispenser to fully contain any inadvertent spillage of chemicals, and to insure a high degree of safety against accidental spills, and/or accidental ingestion by children.
Abstract:
Radial actuation of a handle (15) axially retracts the dispensers shaft (6) inclusive an exit head (9) relative to a base body (5) and a reservoir (7). The shaft (6) is prevented from rotating. The medium thus flows from a pressure chamber (26) via an outlet valve (32) through the entire shaft (6) to a medium exit (20) while being swirled. For facilitated handling the base body (5) and the reservoir (7) form a rod-shaped grip with the handle (15) on one side and a finger scallop (72) on the other.
Abstract:
A liquid dispensing, manually operated trigger sprayer has a trigger with an ergonomic finger engagement surface. The trigger finger engagement surface extends longitudinally across the front of the trigger and has a protrusion at the top of the surface. The protrusion has a finger engagement surface portion that rests on the top of a finger of a user's hand while the user's hand manipulates the trigger of the trigger sprayer.
Abstract:
An indexing nozzle assembly for a trigger sprayer has a manually rotatable cap mounted for rotation on a liquid spinner of the nozzle assembly. Rotation of a cap changes the nozzle assembly between an off condition, a spray condition, a second off condition, and a stream condition of the liquid discharged from the nozzle assembly. The cap can be rotated from the off position directly to either of the spray or stream positions by rotating the cap one-quarter turn in opposite directions. A spatial relationship between an end surface of the liquid spinner and an interior surface of the cap end wall that surrounds the assembly discharge orifice improves the stream configuration of liquid discharged by the nozzle assembly.
Abstract:
The present invention is primarily directed to a sprayer container comprising a fabric treatment composition, and/or usage instructions to spray its content onto a fabric on a substantially horizontal surface and iron said fabric, said sprayer container comprising a body comprising a base, a handle and a sprayer head, characterized in that the angle between the symmetry axis of the spray jet and the horizontal axis is 10null to 90null, preferably 30null to 40null, more preferably 35null when said container stands on its base on said surface, and the back portion of said sprayer handle comprises an arc portion. The present invention is further directed to a process of treating fabrics using such a sprayer bottle, which comprises the steps of spraying a liquid composition from a sprayer container onto a fabric, and ironing said fabric on a substantially horizontal ironing surface.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a method and apparatus for distributing a chemical composition for hunting animals. The chemical composition is distributed in the form of a foam string. The chemical composition can be used to produce scents which attract animals or which mask human scents.
Abstract:
A dispenser head includes a body defining two housings, which receive a respective nozzle-carrier provided with a nozzle. Each of the housings communicates with the outside via a first opening and via a second opening. Each nozzle-carrier communicates with a feed duct after being inserted in one of the housings via one of the first openings. The substance is dispensed through the second openings.
Abstract:
A sprayer including a sprayer container adapted to be filled with a fluid. The sprayer container has at least a portion thereof including thermochromic color-changing properties. The sprayer container includes an interior surface and an exterior surface. A spraying gun is connected to the sprayer container, with the spraying gun including a trigger for selectively spraying pressurized fluid in the sprayer container onto a predetermined object. The sprayer container indicates the amount of fluid in the sprayer container by a color change line located at a transition line between the fluid and gas within the sprayer container when fluid is located within the sprayer container, thereby causing a top area of the sprayer container having the interior surface adjacent the gas to be a first color and a bottom area of the sprayer container having the interior surface adjacent the fluid to be a second color.
Abstract:
A foam dispenser utilizes a deformable reservoir, a foamable fluid and air or other gas; a discharge device and an arrangement for producing foam that includes a plurality of mesh screens. When the dispenser is operated, air from inside the dispenser is mixed with the fluid to produce foam. The dispenser employs a shaped and resilient deformable seal for use in quickly recharging the container with air used in the creation of foam. The dispenser also advantageously employs an integrally molded swirl manifold to create a foam of excellent quality and consistency.
