摘要: A nebulizer including a host having a head portion, a cup body having a nebulizing module disposed on a bottom thereof, an engaging member, a mouthpiece having a first opening, a second opening, and a tongue plate, and a sensor element is provided. The engaging member includes a first, a second, and a third engaging opening communicated with one another. The cup body is coupled to the engaging member through the first engaging opening. The engaging member, inside which a first partition wall is disposed, is coupled to the host through having the third engaging opening engaged with the head portion. The mouthpiece is coupled to the engaging member through having the second opening engaged with the second engaging opening. The tongue plate, disposed inside the mouthpiece and abuts against the first partition wall, divides an inner space of the mouthpiece into a first and a second channel.

摘要: The invention provides a dosing system for an inhalation device, comprising a filling chamber (10); a reservoir chamber (31) which supplies liquid (3) to an aerosol generator (301); and a plunger (20) which includes an overflow chamber (25) and which is pivotable about a hinge (50). The filling chamber has an inner wall (12) which is higher on the side adjacent to the hinge than on the opposite side. When the filling chamber is filled with liquid and the plunger is pivoted into the filling chamber, part of the liquid is displaced over the lower side (17) of the inner wall into the reservoir chamber and some or all of the remaining liquid is displaced into the overflow chamber. The invention also provides an inhalation device comprising the dosing system and a method for dosing liquid to the inhalation device.

摘要: Provided is a pharmaceutical composition comprising an oral corticosteroid for use in post-exacerbation treatment of a respiratory disease in a subject, which post-exacerbation treatment includes an initial dose of the oral corticosteroid. The post-exacerbation treatment being continued until fulfilment of an inhalation parameter criterion by one or more post-exacerbation inhalations performed by the subject with at least one inhaler and/or fulfilment of a rescue inhaler usage criterion relating to post-exacerbation usage of a rescue inhaler configured to deliver a rescue medicament to the subject, at which point the dose of the oral corticosteroid is changed from the initial dose. Further provided are systems and methods for determining whether the inhalation parameter criterion is fulfilled and for comparing a post-exacerbation value of an inhalation parameter to a baseline value of the inhalation parameter.

摘要: A method for evaluating inhalation administration and a system for evaluating inhalation administration, the system including a flow detector and an intelligent terminal. The method includes the following steps: 1) obtaining patient-related data of an inspiration flow-time curve; 2) according to an inspiration flow parameter of inhalation administration, obtaining a start time and an end time of each effective inspiration flow section on the inspiration flow-time curve; and 3) calculating an effective inspiration volume Veffective based on the inspiration flow-time curve and a series of time parameters ti1 and ti2 obtained. The method for evaluating inhalation administration and the system for evaluating inhalation administration provide a basis for medical workers to select an appropriate inhalation administration device for patients.
