Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for coating a surface (44), in particular a microstructured surface, of a component (55) comprising different materials, in particular glass and silicon, wherein the surface (44) is first activated and then coated, wherein an oxidising solution, a basic solution or an acid-oxidising solution is used to activate the surface (44).
Abstract:
A nebulizer is proposed which comprises a replaceable container containing fluid, a housing part detachable from the nebulizer for replacing the container, and an operation counter inseparable from the housing part as depicted in exemplary FIG. 10. The operation counter comprises a lead screw and an associated rider both supported by the housing part.
Abstract:
A medical hand-held device, in particular an atomizer, for dispensing a liquid pharmaceutical preparation from a container with a discharge nozzle for the pharmaceutical preparation and located upstream from the discharge nozzle there is a multiple-stage filter system.
Abstract:
A nebulizer for a fluid, particularly for medical aerosol treatment is proposed. To allow easier operation and confer improved operational reliability a sealed container holding the fluid is already arranged in the nebulizer when it is supplied and the nebulizer is constructed so that the container is opened inside the nebulizer before or during the first use of the nebulizer. For this purpose, a transportation lock is provided for the sealed container which, in the delivery state, is in engagement with the sealed container in a manner preventing the sealed container from moving axially in the nebulizer.
Abstract:
An inhalation device includes: a chamber for intermediate storage of an aerosol, a first connection for a nebuliser that produces the aerosol, a second connection on a patient side for delivering the aerosol, and a third connection for breathable air, where the chamber is fluidically connected in a valve-free manner on an inlet side to the first connection when the nebuliser is attached, and the chamber is connected to the third connection in parallel on the inlet side via an inlet valve so that the breathable air from the third connection flows into the chamber.
Abstract:
A manually energized dispensing system containing a dispensing head (1) which has a housing (2), a nozzle, a pump (4) mounted in the housing, and a pump actuation mechanism (3) is provided. The pump has a pump rotor (13) and a stator (12). The pump rotor has two axial extensions (17, 18) of different diameters, mounted in corresponding chambers (15, 16) of the stator, and first and second seals (19, 20) mounted in the stator housing and surrounding the first and second axial rotor extensions. The rotor extensions comprising liquid supply channels (22, 24), in conjunction with the seals operate as valves that open and close communication between an inlet of the pump connected to the inside of a container (7) and the pump chambers, respectively. The pump chambers are operated as a function of the angular displacement of the pump rotor.
Abstract:
A nebulizer having an insertable container and a monitoring device for counting actuations of the nebulizer is proposed. The monitoring device is mounted in a detachable housing part and directly detects movements of container during a nebulizing process, an air supply current in the region of a mouthpiece, and/or the production of aerosol, in order to detect this as the actual dispensing of fluid and actuation of the nebulizer, while preferably the time of actuation of the nebulizer is additionally detected and stored. This allows better monitoring and guidance for the user.
Abstract:
An inhaler, preferably for insertion into a nostril, in particular a horse's nostril, with an inhalation valve, which has a movable valve element, whereby the valve element is designed in an annular manner and has an outer edge and an inner edge, whereby the valve element is fastened at the outer edge, the inner edge forms the boundary of an indentation of the valve element, and the inhalation valve has a valve body seat that corresponds to the inner edge.
Abstract:
An inhaler, preferably for insertion into a nostril, in particular a horse's nostril, with a pressure generator, which has a tensioning device for the drive, and with a tensioning mechanism for tensioning the tensioning device, whereby the tensioning mechanism has a lever gear for tensioning the tensioning device.
Abstract:
An atomizer and a method of dispensing and atomizing fluid into individual containers through a nozzle are proposed, where in order to improve the dosing accuracy, a preliminary amount of fluid, flushing the nozzle, is dispensed before each dose is dispensed.
