    摘要: Circular discs used for boiler bottoms are flanged by being clamped, one at the time, in a flanging device and then are rotated about their central axis to be first heated along their circumferential marginal zone by a heat inductor supplied with alternating current. The heat inductor is U-shaped so as to embrace the circumferential edge of said circular disc to cover both sides of the same over a sector-shaped area. The heated marginal zone of said central disc during its rotation is shaped into the desired flange by flanging rolls, preferably mounted opposite the location where the heat inductor is caused to heat the circular disc.

    摘要: A heating/heat-retaining device, particularly to a heating/heat-retaining device used in the forging process, and more particularly to an opening-and-closing type heater and a wind generator shaft forging process using the same. The opening-and-closing type heater comprises a base, a tube body mounted on the base and a tube body opening-and-closing mechanism; the tube body comprises a fixed tube body and a movable tube body, the fixed tube body and the movable tube body are arc-shaped shells, and form a hollow shape when the openings thereof match with each other; the tube body opening-and-closing mechanism is connected to the movable tube body for realizing the opening-and-closing of the movable tube body and the fixed tube body. The invention solves heat retaining and heating problems during the forging process of the main shaft forgings and avoids internal defects due to rapid temperature drop of the main shaft forgings.

    摘要: An automated rapid capacitive discharge apparatus is provided for sequentially or simultaneously rapidly heating and shaping a plurality of metallic glass feedstock samples. The apparatus includes a sample feeder defining a body for holding a plurality of samples and being capable of sequentially positioning at least one feedstock sample into a discharge position within the processing compartment. In the processing compartment the sample is heated by a discharge of a quantum of electrical energy supplied via electrodes, then shaped into a desired shape by means of a shaping tool, and subsequently moved out of the discharge position as a second feedstock moves into a discharge position.

    摘要: An apparatus and method is provided for controlling the temperature of dies and workpiece throughout a deformation process. Dies are capable of receiving external current to resistively heat the workpiece and dies during the deformation operation, the external current being modulated by feedback temperature readings taken from the workpiece. External current may be provided from a homopolar generator capable of producing pulsed dc current at controllable intervals and magnitudes simultaneously through the dies and workpiece.
