摘要： An apparatus for making a self-opening bag pack includes a supply of flexible film material. An extruder forms a continuous tube of film. A flattener flattens the tube. A first sealer forms a bottom seal across a width of the flattened tube. A cutter cuts the flattened tube into bag blanks has a bag mouth at a predetermined distance from the bottom seal. Second and third sealers form angled seals at lower corners of the bag blank forming a flat bottomed bag. An adhesion knife penetrates the bag pack adhering adjacent bag blanks together in the bag pack. An aperture maker forms apertures for suspending the bag pack from a dispensing rack. The pack is attached to the dispensing rack and the front wall of the subsequent bag is adhered to the rear wall of a first bag, thereby causing the first bag to open when pulled from the rack.

The first and second steps are carried out between a first pair of separation cylinders and a second pair of cylinders, the piece of waste being clamped between the cylinders of the first pair during the first step in order to be held on the second bag, then clamped and torn off by the second pair during the second step.

The versatile storage bag may have first and second sidewalls, a double-locking closure mechanism with a first closure element extending along the first sidewall and a second closure element extending along the second sidewall, each closure element having a channel and an elongated member configured for interlocking with one another. A double-seal along three sides of the first sidewall and the second sidewall form a gusset between two seals, leaving an opening through the double-locking closure mechanism. Corner seals may be formed at the corners of the first and second sidewalls, further reinforcing the double-locking closure mechanism for an airtight and hence waterproof seal. The versatile storage bag may be made of a food-grade polyethylene vinyl acetate blend, approximately 90% or less ethylene vinyl acetate and approximately 10% or less polyethylene.

摘要： A shirr-stable, tubular food casing having a glued, permanently elastic longitudinal seam based on a flat fibrous textile material coated with acrylic, collagen and/or a protein derived therefrom is provided. The seam is generated using a reactive hotmelt glue. The glued seam is resistant to boiling for a long time and also exhibits sufficient stability thereafter. Exemplary textile materials include a consolidated nonwoven or spunbonded nonwoven, a woven fabric, loop-formingly knitted fabric, laid fabric, loop-drawingly knitted fabric. To form the casing, the textile material is coated in the flat state. The coated textile material is cut into strips according to the diameter of the casing to be produced and glued using a reactive hotmelt glue, such as a PUR hotmelt glue, to form the tube. The food casing is preferably used as artificial sausage casing or for wrapping cheese or fish.
