    摘要: A thermal printer includes: a platen having a rotatable columnar shape and configured to convey a print medium having various widths by bringing the print medium into contact with an outer peripheral portion of the platen, a central portion of the platen in a direction of a rotary shaft of the platen being taken as a reference; and a print head facing the platen, pressed by the outer peripheral portion, and configured to print by applying heat to the print medium sandwiched between the print head and the outer peripheral portion. In the outer peripheral portion of the platen, a first groove is formed in a direction intersecting the direction of the rotary shaft in each of second outer peripheral portions on both outer sides in the direction of the rotary shaft with respect to a first outer peripheral portion in contact with the print medium having a smallest width that can be conveyed.

    摘要: Provided is a printable coating, printable media and printable labels thereof, usable in both inkjet and direct thermal printing applications. The coating comprises leuco dye blended into an inkjet coating formulation, wherein the coating is applied on the first face of an appropriate paper or film to form the printable media. The coating may be applied as a single, homogenous topcoat thereby streamlining the manufacturing process and reducing potential printing errors. The coating may provide a printable area compatible for use with both direct thermal printers and inkjet printers. On the opposite face of the paper or film, an adhesive may be applied, in combination with an optional release liner, to form printable label stock. Each step of the process, e.g. application of the coating, application of the adhesive and liner, and die-cutting of labels, may occur in any order combination relative to one another. In addition, reverse printing may also be utilized to print and form the labels.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a printer apparatus including a thermoelectric cooling assembly and a processor coupled to the thermoelectric cooling assembly. The thermoelectric cooling assembly includes a thermoelectric cooling element that includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a first plurality of semiconductor elements electrically coupled to a second plurality of semiconductor elements in a space between the first substrate and the second substrate. The thermoelectric cooling element includes a base plate electrically coupled to the first substrate. The base plate is positioned proximate to a plurality of labels traversing above the thermoelectric cooling assembly. The processor receives sensor signals indicative of a temperature of a label that comes in contact with the thermoelectric cooling assembly, compares the temperature of the label with a threshold temperature, and generates an output signal indicative of current supplied to the thermoelectric cooling element to adjust the temperature of the thermoelectric cooling element.

The invention provides a printer chassis (1) with reinforced flat area (20) by at least one reinforcing element comprising a fold of the printer chassis (1).
