Abstract: A process for the enhancement of the byproducts of a process for the regeneration of exhaust oils is described, wherein said process for the regeneration of exhaust oils which includes at least one of the following steps: a) passing of the oil to be regenerated into one or more centrifuges, b) storage of the oil, before treatment, in suitable containers, c) desiloxanation and d) filtering. The byproducts of one or more of steps a) to d) are treated, gathered and mixed with one another and added to the bitumen coming out as tail of a fractioned distillation step of the above-said regeneration process of exhaust oils.
A plant for the carrying out of a process according to any one of the preceding claims is also described, comprising a processing unit for each of the byproducts coming from steps a) to d) and a mixer (6) with stirring (7).-

Abstract: A high-temperature and high-salt resistant hyperbranched lubricant for a water-based drilling fluid, and preparation and application thereof are provided, belonging to the technical field of oilfield chemistry. The preparation method includes the steps of: mixing tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS), diethanolamine (DEA), and triethanolamine (TEA) for a transesterification and polycondensation reaction to obtain highly reactive hyperbranched polysiloxane; adding an acrylamide (AM) monomer, an anionic monomer, and a polar ester monomer into deionized water to obtain a monomer solution; adjusting the pH of the monomer solution to 5-9, and then adding highly reactive hyperbranched polysiloxane; introducing nitrogen to remove oxygen, adding an initiator, and thermally initiating a polymerization reaction; and after the reaction is completed, vacuum-drying and crushing an obtained product to obtain the high-temperature and high-salt resistant hyperbranched lubricant for a water-based drilling fluid.

Abstract: This invention relates to a lubricating oil composition comprising: at least 50 mass % or more of one or more base oils; detergent; and 0.01 to 20 mass % of a functionalized polymer comprising a partially or fully saturated olefin homopolymer or copolymer backbone and at least one functional group, having: i) an Mn of 10,000 g/mol or more (GPC-PS) of the polymer prior to functionalization, ii) where in the functional group is derived from an acylating agent and a compound containing amino and/or hydroxyl groups, and iii) optionally, wherein the homopolymer or copolymer backbone is derived from monomers selected from the group consisting of C2 to C30 (such as linear) alpha olefins and C4 to C20 conjugated dienes; where PIBSA-PAM having an Mn of 1,600 g/mol or more (GPC-PS) is absent or substantially absent from the lubricating oil composition, or, if present, is present in an amount such that the weight ratio of the functionalized polymer (B) to the high molecular weight PIBSA-PAM is at least 0.25:1.

A proportion of the trimellitate ester to a total amount of the trimellitate ester and the poly-a-olefin is 10.0 mass % or more and 60.0 mass % or less. The thickener contains lithium 12-hydroxystearate and lithium stearate. A proportion of the lithium 12-hydroxystearate to a total amount of the lithium 12-hydroxystearate and the lithium stearate is 5.0 mass % or more and 95.0 mass % or less. The extreme pressure additive contains molybdenum dialkyl dithiocarbamate. A proportion of the molybdenum dialkyl dithiocarbamate to a total amount of the trimellitate ester, the poly-a-olefin, the lithium 12-hydroxystearate, the lithium stearate, and the molybdenum dialkyl dithiocarbamate is 0.6 mass % or more and 16.0 mass % or less.
