    Abstract: A hydrostatic transmission system includes a hydraulic motor and at least one proportional control valve and at least one pump connected to the hydraulic motor to provide fluid to operate the hydraulic motor. The at least one pump includes at least one fluid driver having a prime mover and a fluid displacement assembly to be driven by the prime mover such that fluid is transferred from the pump inlet to the pump outlet. The hydrostatic transmission system also includes a controller that establishes at least one of a speed and a torque of the at least one prime mover and concurrently establishes an opening of the at least one proportional control valve to adjust at least one of a flow and a pressure in the hydrostatic transmission system to an operational set point.

    Abstract: A motor-operated compressor includes a housing and a driving motor disposed in an inner space of the housing. The driving motor includes a stator and a rotor. A rotary shaft is coupled to the rotor. A first scroll is provided on one side of the driving motor and the rotary shaft passes through and is rotatably coupled to the first scroll. A second scroll is coupled to the first scroll and an eccentric part of the rotary shaft passing through the first scroll to form a compression chamber between the first scroll and the second scroll. A frame is provided opposite to the driving motor with the first scroll and the second scroll interposed therebetween and configured to axially support the second scroll and radially support one end of the rotary shaft passing through the second scroll.

    Abstract: A variable displacement vane pump includes a biasing element for urging the control ring toward a first position that corresponds to a maximum volumetric capacity of the pump. Fluid pressure within a control chamber urges the control ring toward the second position. A feedback path is in communication with a fluid outlet of the pump for supplying a pressurized fluid. A first supply path provides the pressurized fluid to the fluid inlet. A second supply path provides the pressurized fluid to the control chamber. A valve controls flow of the pressurized fluid via the second supply path by moving between a fully open position and a fully closed position in which flow of the pressurized fluid along the second supply path is prevented by the valve. Moving the valve from the open position to the closed position increases the fluid pressure within the control chamber.

    Abstract: A driving power transmission device includes a fluid pressure type clutch device that transmits driving power between two shaft members, and a pump that supplies a fluid to the clutch device. The pump includes a pump that makes a pressure of sucked fluid high; a first flow passage through which the fluid according to a pressure discharged from the pump is supplied to the clutch device during a driving of the pump; a second flow passage through which the fluid discharged from the pump is held during a stop of the pump and a pressing force is applied to the clutch device by the fluid to be held; and a switching valve that is switchable between a normal mode where a discharge port of the pump communicates with the first flow passage and a locking mode where the discharge port of the pump communicates with the second flow passage.

    Abstract: An automotive hydraulic actuating system for actuating a movable vehicle part, like a roof part or a wheel suspension. The actuating system comprises a pump unit. The pump unit comprises a piston pump which has a pump rotor and an electric motor which has a motor rotor. The pump rotor and motor rotor are incorporated into a single common rotor. The rotor is a one piece item. The rotor is positioned inside a pump chamber around a pump stator of the piston pump. The pump stator provides a full support to the common rotor. Advantageously, without a separate motor stator, the pump unit has a more compact configuration. Additionally, the pump unit has an improved dynamic performance which contributes to a silent and reliable operation at a high rotational speed.
