    摘要: concentrating color television camera employing at least two camera tubes one of which provides a luminance signal, and the other of which provides chrominance signals. A light-beam splitter directs a portion of the light from the image to the photosensitive layer of the luminance camera tube in which a potential image corresponding to the visible image is formed and another portion to the chrominance camera tube for producing chrominance signals. Between the light-beam splitter and chrominance camera tube, a member capable of concentrating the light on a given number of areas evenly distributed throughout the surface of the photosensitive layer is provided. Scanning of the photosensitive layer by an electron beam thus supplies a chrominance signal which transmits the moving parts of the scene substantially without inertia.

A rotatable color filter having circular segments of different light transmission characteristics is provided before the light intensifier. Rotatable apertured discs which intermittently and alternately pass the light to camera tubes follow the light intensifier. Protruding parts or apertures of a disc correspond to determined segments of the color filter. Instead of the apertured discs liquid crystals which pass or do not pass light can be used.

    摘要: A light from the picked up object is divided into two portions by a first optical system. A luminance signal is produced from one of the divided portions and a chromaticity signal is obtained from the other divided portion by a second optical system. This second optical system is intended to picks up first and second color lights and is arranged such that the first color light is left intact and the second color light is intercepted in the form of stripes. The chromaticity and luminance signal are than combined to produce a three color signal.

    摘要: A colour television camera including first and second pick-up tubes is disclosed, which camera includes automatic means for ensuring registration of the video signals derived from said tubes. The video signals derived from said tubes and relating respectively to different spectral components of a scene to be televised are passed through respective outline generator means to produce respective identification signals which are indicative of selected edges in the scene. The identification signals are applied to an error detecting circuit which is arranged to generate a correction signal dependent on the degree of misregistration between the video signals, and the correction signals are utilised, either directly or indirectly, to tend to reduce the misregistration.

    摘要: This disclosure depicts improved color television film reproduction systems and methods for displaying either conventional color transparency cine film, or cine records on which color separation information is stored as signals modulating separately detectable spatial carriers. The illustrated system comprises, inter alia, novel light source means for producing a plurality of highly spatially coherent light sources and a source of less coherence, and means employing the source of less coherence for establishing a wideband luminance channel through the system. The disclosed system further includes novel spatial filtering means and methods for enabling detection of red, blue, green, and luminance information without the need for spectral filtering in either the projector or camera stages.
