    摘要: A binding assembly for use with a recreation sport board, such as a ski-board, snow-board, or the like, wherein the binding assembly includes a binding having first and second mounting portions and a foot support extending therebetween. The first and second mounting portions being mountable at a first height relative to a top board surface of the board. The foot support has an elevated support plate that is supported by the first and second mounting portions at a second height relative to the top board surface. The second height is greater than the first height to define a tunnel under the elevated support portion. The elevated support portion securely supports the user's foot above the top board surface and moves toward the top board surface when an impact or shock load is exerted on the board, thereby dissipating shock exerted on the user's foot by the binding. A foot pad is adhered atop the elevated support portion and a foot retainer is connected to the binding to retain the user's foot on the foot pad while the sport board is being used.

    摘要: In a board for snow skiing comprising an elongated blow-molded plastic skiody. The body includes a top and a bottom wall and reinforcements extending therebetween. First and second spaced apart bindings are mounted to the board for respectively receiving a front and a rear foot of a rider of the board. The bindings each comprise a pair of flexible plastic bands which are fixedly mounted at a first end part thereof to the board in a spaced and substantially parallel relationship. The bands also include at a second end part thereof a cooperating fastening device. Each binding also comprises a strap having each of two ends thereof attached to one of the bands for securing a back part of the foot of the rider to the binding.

The splitboard bindings can be used to change a splitboard between a snowboard for riding downhill in a ride mode and touring skis for climbing up a hill in a tour mode. The bindings can have a first interface and a second interface configured to engage and disengage. The interfaces can be configured such that a binding has large clearances for easy transitions. The first interface can be configured with a locking mechanism. The second interface can be configured to remove large clearances between the first interface and second interface, when the locking mechanism of the first interface is engaged with the second interface, allowing the first interface to attach tightly to the second interface and splitboard to improve the ride of the splitboard.

    摘要: Some embodiments disclosed herein provide systems, methods, and apparatus relating to a touring snowboard binding comprising an adjustable lateral leverage device. In some embodiments, the adjustable lateral leverage device may comprise at least one first attachment generally at a top corner of a highback of a touring snowboard boot and at least one second attachment generally at an ankle portion of the binding. The adjustable tensioning element may extend generally diagonally between the at least one first attachment and the at least one second attachment such that when the tension in the adjustable lateral leverage device is increased the lateral support to the boot is increased proportionally and when the tension in the adjustable lateral leverage device is decreased the lateral support to the boot is decreased proportionally. Some embodiments also provide a touring snowboard boot comprising an adjustable leverage device.

    摘要: A snowboard boot and binding system is disclosed which facilitates the engagement and disengagement of a snowboard boot and binding. The snowboard boot may include a boot engagement member extending from a rear of the boot. The boot engagement member is moved downwardly into a corresponding binding engagement member to provide an arrangement which prevents forward movement of the boot. The boot engagement member also may include one or more serrations to engage with one or more pawls on the binding to prevent upward movement of the boot. A snap-in arrangement may be provided in a boot toe region. The boot has protrusions extending outwardly from each side of the boot to engage with catches on the binding sidewalls. As the boot is pressed downwardly into the binding, the protrusions splay the catches until reaching recesses, at which point the catches rebound to capture the protrusions against upward movement.

In operation, the user can enable release of the boot interface portion from the retention mechanism by activating the wireless remoted control so as to cause the boot interface portion to be unlocked from the retention mechanism.
