    摘要: A grinding roll including a roll body having a cylindrical outer surface extending axially between a first end and a second end and a flange attached to at least one of the first and second ends. The flange includes an outer edge that extends radially past the cylindrical outer surface of the roll body. A first surface of the flange forms a perpendicular continuing surface with the cylindrical outer surface of the roll body. A second surface of the flange forms a continuation of one of the first and second ends of the roll body. The flange includes wear protection liner elements on the first surface. The first surface of the flange includes at least one lower part adjacent the cylindrical outer surface of the roll body and at least one upper part adjacent the outer edge of the flange. The lower part includes a first type of wear protection liner elements and the upper part includes a second type of wear protection liner elements. The average covering area of the second type of wear protection liner elements is larger than that of the first type of wear protection liner elements.

The press roller has a roller surface made of conductive material, and an electric field is created when a charge is applied to the press roller. In the roller press, an alternating or direct current electric field is applied between the press rollers to create an electrochemical action, such that particles or a solution in a system is induced to undergo a physical or chemical change, thereby enhancing interaction therebetween, and accordingly increasing grinding and dispersion efficiency of a solid-liquid dispersion system.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a machine frame for a roll crusher that has two side walls and two end walls, where the mentioned end walls accommodate the storage of the rolls. The end walls are split horizontally in the area of the mounting of the rollers, and vertically between the mountings of the upper part. One advantage is that to remove a roller, removal of the respective upper end wall is sufficient. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the adjacent upper parts of the end walls do not touch. An advantage of this is that tilting of the end wall upper parts among each other or in contact with the side walls is prevented during removal. Furthermore, the gap resulting from the distance between the front wall upper parts in the preferred embodiment would be sealed, with the advantage that no material and dust can exit.

    摘要: A double roll crusher is provided for mined oil sands feed, even in the winter season. Each roll has a driveline driven by a high efficiency motor controlled by a variable frequency drive (VFD). Through removal of the prior, yet ubiquitous fluid coupling and related failure-prone components, a shorter, streamlined, lower inertia driveline results. The VFDs and a system controller adapt to the processing of difficult oil sand feed, anticipating high current events, adjusting roll speed on-the-fly, adjusting feeder rate or both to minimizing the high cost of process interruptions. Maximum startup torque and on-the-fly modification of roll and feeder speeds is provided to manage feed, environment and process variations and in instances of a stall, immediate recovery therefrom for reduced downtime, reduced wear and increased efficiency.
