    摘要: A roller mill for comminuting bulk material may include a first grinding roller and a second grinding roller that are arranged opposite one another and can be driven in opposite directions. A grinding gap exists between the grinding rollers. A floating bearing unit may be configured to receive the first grinding roller, and a fixed bearing unit may be configured to receive the second grinding roller. The floating bearing unit includes two bearings, each of which receives one end of the first grinding roller. Hydraulic actuators are mounted on the floating bearing unit for applying a force to the floating bearing unit. The bearings of the floating bearing unit are connected to one another via a synchronization device that includes a coupling element, which in a coupling position prevents a relative movement of the bearings and in a free position permits a relative movement of the bearings.

    摘要: A grinding roll including a roll body having a cylindrical outer surface extending axially between a pair of opposite ends and a side groove formed at each end of the roll body. The side groove includes a support shoulder recessed from the cylindrical outer surface and/or from surfaces of the opposite ends of the roll body. The grinding roll includes an edge ring including a plurality of spaced receiving cavities and a plurality of wear members. Each wear member is received and retained in at least one of the receiving cavities of the edge ring. The wear members are positioned along the edge ring to define an edge of the grinding roll, and the edge ring is received within each side groove. The wear members are arranged to provide a wear protecting surface which is angled in relation to the cylindrical outer surface of the roll body. The angled wear protecting surface prevents excessive build-up of material on the grinding roll and reduces the need for maintenance.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for monitoring a high-pressure roller press in the course of comminuting, compacting, or briquetting material. The roller press has two rotationally driven press rollers, between which a rolling gap is formed with a gap width that can be modified during operation. During operation, operational data of the roller press is ascertained by one or more measurement value sensors and is stored on a computer. The method is characterized in that the operational data is stored as raw data on an edge computer, as an analysis computer, which is stationed locally in the region of the roller press and is connected to the measurement value sensors, and the raw data is evaluated on the analysis computer using an analysis algorithm so that characteristic data of the roller press is generated and stored on the analysis computer, wherein the characteristic data is transmitted from the analysis computer to at least one terminal via a wireless network and is displayed on the terminal.
