    摘要: An automatic mold thickness adjusting method is provided, which is capable of effecting mold thickness adjustment in a short time by a low-cost mold clamping apparatus using a general-purpose motor for mold thickness adjustment, and of preventing an overcurrent from flowing in the motor. A crosshead is retreated to a position behind a position (LO) for production of a set mold clamping force when the crosshead reaches a lock-up position before a die-touch state is attained, or when the die-touch state is established in a crosshead position before the aforesaid position (LO), and a rear platen is advanced so that the die-touch state is attained. Thereafter, the motor for mold thickness adjustment is driven in a direction to retreat the rear platen, and at the same time, a servomotor is driven in a direction to advance a movable platen, at a speed equal to the retreating speed of the rear platen obtained by multiplying a program-specified speed by an override value corresponding to a crosshead shift position, thereby causing the crosshead to reach the aforesaid position (LO).

    摘要: The invention relates to an articulated lever press consisting of a press stand (1.1) and a frame-shaped press slide (2.1), the slide (2.1) possessing a hydraulic cylinder drive (2.12) which is arranged on it and is connected to the multi-articulated support (2.7) guided in the center of the press in the slide (2.1). At least two connecting rods (2.8) are movably arranged on the multi-articulated support, the other ends of the connecting rods each engaging one of the two articulated levers (2.10) or (2.11) which are mounted on the slide (2.1) and on the press frame (1.1) so that their height can be adjusted.The object is essentially to keep the working range of the slide (2.1) adjustable, irrespective of the slide travel and while maintaining slide guidance.It is proposed that the press stand (1.1) be a twin-stand frame partially closed even at the front end. The working range of the slide (2.1) in the stand (1.1) is supported and adjusted by synchronously driven shafts (2.2) which are coordinated with the stand (1.1) via guide beams (2.4) provided with shaft bearings (2.3).The guide beams (2.4) are provided on the lower surface with bearings (2.3.1) to permit the suspension of the pair of articulated levers (2.10/2.11) which are to be connected to the slides (2.1) and (2.9).

    摘要: A toggle press, in particular a coining press, in which a press slide is reciprocated towards and away from a thrust member by a first toggle linkage connected between the press slide and a stationary point and which is operated by a second toggle linkage connected between the first toggle linkage and a stationary point and which in turn is operated by a crank or eccentric driven at constant speed, the said two toggle linkages being of opposed angularity, and the length of the link of the said second toggle linkage which is connected to the said stationary point being shorter than the other link of the said second toggle linkage so that the press slide spends a greater part of its operating cycle near the top of its stroke removed from the thrust member than it does near the bottom of its stroke close to the thrust member. Additionally, the crank or eccentric deflects the second toggle linkage to one side of its center line for the major part of the operating cycle, and also deflects the second toggle linkage to a lesser extent to the other side of its center line during the remaining minor part of the operating cycle. Preferably, the lengths of the links of the second toggle linkage are substantially in the ratio 1:2 and the stroke of the press slide or ram is relatively short so that it remains close to the thrust member throughout its operations cycle.
