摘要： A two part hay bale carrier of simplified economical construction is formed by a wheel unit and a handle member. The wheel unit comprises a pair of wheels journaled by respective ends of an axle which rigidly supports normally upright tines intermediate its ends which are inverted and manually inserted into an end corner surface of a rectangular bale. The bale and wheel unit is then righted. The handle member comprises a pair of parallel tines joined at one end in U-shaped fashion by a bight portion which projects outward of the opposite end of the bale after the hand member tines are longitudinally inserted into the bale end opposite the wheel unit enabling an operator to substantially balance the mass of the hay bale on the wheel unit and move the bale in two-wheel dolly fashion across the surface of the earth.

摘要： A manually operated cart that is specifically designed for loading, hauling and unloading long and heavy objects such as pipe, wood poles and heavy construction members without requiring the user to manually lift the objects for either loading or unloading and a method for loading, transporting and unloading a wheeled manual cart of this nature. For loading a long and heavy object, the cart manipulation handle is positioned in a lateral handle receptacle and is used by a worker to roll the cart over to an inverted position on top of the long and heavy object to be lifted and transported and after being bound to the object, is rolled back to its wheel supported position with the object so attached. After the cart and object have been manually moved by manual pushing or pulling, the worker will unload the cart by returning the cart manipulation handle to the lateral handle receptacle and by using the handle as a fulcrum to rotate the cart back to its inverted position and thus returning the object to the ground or floor. In this position the cart/object binding is released to allow the cart to be removed from the object. During cart rotation, rounded sections of an object support cradle of the cart will serve as fulcrum points for control of cart and object rotation by the laterally connected handle.

摘要： In a wheelbarrow having a bin (1) for the load, a ground wheel (2) at a front end of the bin and a handle (3) at a rear end, the handle (3) has a cam shaped extension (7) which forms a leg for the bin rear end and which is mounted on a pivot (4) carried on the bin. The handle (3) can be released from its normal position and then pivoted forward in the direction of the wheel (2). This action causes rotation of the cam and the bin rear end is lowered to near ground level to allow easy loading of the bin. When loaded the handle (3) can be returned to its position at the bin rear end and the cam simultaneously lifts the bin and load. The load may then be carried and emptied as with a conventional wheelbarrow.

摘要： An improved hand truck is provided for use on construction sites for lifting and transporting banded stacks of masonry products such as bricks and blocks. The hand truck includes a frame supported by a pair of wheels for movement along the ground and tiltable from a vertical position wherein a stack of masonry products can be engaged toward an inclined position wherein the stack can be transported. The frame supports a quickly and conveniently adjustable movable plate for use in supporting the individual units in the stack when the hand truck is in an inclined position and a pair of projecting tongs for insertion into openings in the stacks whereby the stacks can be lifted off the ground when the hand truck is tilted. The position of the tongs can also be quickly and conveniently adjusted both laterally and vertically to permit the tongs to be properly aligned with the openings in the stacks regardless of the relative spacing between the openings in the stacks and regardless of the height of the openings relative to the ground.
