摘要： Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture (e.g., physical storage media) to detect media watermarks in magnetic field data are disclosed herein. Example media monitors disclosed herein include a magnetic field estimator to determine first magnetic field data, the magnetic field estimator in communication with a magnetometer. Disclosed example media monitors also include a correlator to correlate the first magnitude field data with a reference sequence to determine second magnetic field data. Disclosed example media monitors further include a watermark decoder to process the second magnetic field data to detect an audio watermark encoded in an audio signal.

摘要： System and methods are provided for determining whether a media file in a private network has been suspiciously modified. In embodiments, a server controlled by a service provider, for example, can generate a digital provenance for a media file from a trusted device and immutably store a hash value representing the digital provenance of the media file. Subsequent instances of the media file that are detected within the private network, in embodiments, are evaluated by the server using the digital provenance of the media file in order to identify changes to the content of the media file. In further embodiments, the server can modify the content of a suspiciously modified media file to include a marker that disclaims the content and/or otherwise indicates that the media file has been modified.

摘要： A method performed by a portable media player device. The method receives a microphone signal that includes audio content output by an audio playback device via a loudspeaker. The method determines identification information regarding the audio content, wherein the identification information is determined through an acoustic signal analysis of the microphone signal. In response to determining that the audio playback device has ceased outputting the audio content, the method retrieves from local memory of the portable media player device or a remote device with which the portable media player device is communicatively coupled, an audio signal that corresponds to the audio content and drives a speaker that is not part of the audio playback device using the audio signal to continue outputting the audio content and any additional audio content related to the audio content.
