Abstract:
A library controller including a storage executes first registration processing of, in a case where registration completion information indicating registration completion in a cartridge management system is not stored in a cartridge memory provided in a cartridge, registering identification information for identifying the cartridge and the registration completion information in the cartridge memory, overwriting prohibition processing of prohibiting overwriting to the identification information and the registration completion information registered in the cartridge memory, second registration processing of registering the identification information in the storage, and execution processing of executing reading and writing of user data from and to the cartridge in a case where the identification information stored in the storage coincides with the identification information stored in the cartridge memory.
Abstract:
Provided is a recording tape cartridge including: a case that accommodates a reel on which a recording tape is wound and includes a reference surface that serves as a reference in an axial direction of the reel in a case where the case is loaded into a drive device; a noncontact communication medium on which individual information is recorded, the noncontact communication medium being accommodated in the case and having a plate shape; a supporting portion that is formed in the case and supports one surface of the noncontact communication medium except for a lower end portion such that the noncontact communication medium is disposed while being inclined with respect to the reference surface at an angle of approximately 45 degrees; and a groove portion that is formed in the case and accommodates a portion of the lower end portion of the noncontact communication medium. The one surface of the lower end portion of the noncontact communication medium is not in contact with the case.
Abstract:
A recording tape cartridge includes: a reel including a reel hub having an outer diameter of an upper end portion thereof is smaller than that of a lower end portion thereof, and a lower flange in which plural through holes are radially formed and inclined surfaces are formed at one edge portion and the other edge portion of each of the through holes, the inclined surfaces are directed to a flange circumferential direction. An inclination angle with respect to a reel rotation axis of the inclined surface at the one edge portion, which is directed in a rotational direction of the reel, when a recording tape is wound on the reel, is larger than an inclination angle with respect to the reel rotation axis of the inclined surface of the other edge portion, which is directed in the rotational direction of the reel when the recording tape is led out of the reel.
Abstract:
There is provided a tape cartridge housing case, the case including (1) a case body having an upper wall portion that covers an upper face of a tape cartridge, a lower wall portion that covers a lower face of the tape cartridge, and an opening that the tape cartridge is inserted and removed through, (2) a first protrusion that is formed at an inner face of the lower wall portion, and that anchors an anchored portion, (3) a recess that is formed at an outer face of the lower wall portion at a position so as to be on the opposite side to the first protrusion in a front face-back face relationship, and (4) a second protrusion that is formed at an outer face of the upper wall portion at the same position as the recess in plan view.
Abstract:
A recording tape cartridge includes a release member, a sliding protrusion portion, a metallic plate and a reference portion. The release member is provided in a reel hub to be rotatable integrally with the reel. The release member moves a locking member from a locking position to an allowing position when a pushing surface of the release member is pushed from an outer side of a case. The sliding protrusion portion protrudes from the locking member toward the side thereof at which the release member is disposed. The metallic plate is provided in the release member. A distal end of the sliding protrusion portion touches the metallic plate. The reference portion is provided at the release member. The reference portion positions a position of the metallic plate relative to the pushing surface in the axial direction of the reel.
Abstract:
The tape reel includes the cylindrical portion and a bottom portion having an installation surface on which the cylindrical portion is installed upright. The installation surface has a central surface located on a center side of the bottom portion, and a first inclined surface formed on an outer peripheral portion of the central surface along a peripheral direction of the cylindrical portion and inclined such that a wall thickness of the bottom portion gradually decreases toward an outer peripheral side. A through hole penetrating the bottom portion is formed in the outer peripheral portion, a pair of wall portions are installed upright on the first inclined surface on both sides of the through hole in the peripheral direction, and a second inclined surface having an inclination angle smaller than an inclination angle of the first inclined surface with respect to the central surface is formed on a surface of each of the wall portions, which is connected to the central surface.
Abstract:
A recording tape cartridge includes a case that accommodates a reel around which a recording tape is wound and a label that is attached to a label surface formed at a wall surface of the case. The wall surface is located at a side opposite to a direction in which the case is loaded into a drive device. The label includes a first label layer that is attached to the label surface and on which individual identification information is displayed in a two-dimensional code, and a second label layer attached to the first label layer with a peelable bonding force, the second label layer being capable of covering and concealing the two-dimensional code, and the individual identification information being displayed in a barcode on the second label layer. The two-dimensional code is displayed at a central part in a longitudinal direction of the label.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A package includes a plurality of accommodation regions where a plurality of holders are accommodated in such a manner that the plurality of holders are able to be put in and out, and a partition structure that divides the plurality of accommodation regions. Each holder holds a plurality of magnetic tape cartridges in such a manner that the plurality of magnetic tape cartridges are able to be put in and out of the holder. In a state in which the holder is accommodated in the accommodation region, a height of the partition structure is higher than a height of the holder.
