Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for PHY priority for wireless communications are provided. An example apparatus may multiplex a first uplink control information transmission based on a first uplink control information resource and a second uplink control information transmission based on a second uplink control information resource that overlaps in time with the first uplink control information resource, at least one of the first uplink control information resource and the second uplink control information resource being for full-duplex communication. The example apparatus may determine, based on applying a multiplexing rule on the full-duplex communication, whether to use the first uplink control information resource associated with a first beam or the second uplink control information resource associated with a second beam. The example apparatus may transmit a multiplexed uplink control information transmission using a determined uplink control information resource based on the multiplexing rule.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive information indicating a first slot format, wherein the information indicates one or more symbols associated with a full duplex (FD) format. The UE may perform communication based on a second slot format until a time period after the reception of the information indicating the first slot format, wherein the second slot format is prior to the first slot format. The UE may perform at least one of half duplex (HD) communication or FD communication in accordance with the first slot format after the time period has elapsed. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A mobile wireless node (e.g., a mobile integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node) may transmit a control message to a parent wireless node indicating one or more supported network connectivity modes. A network connectivity mode may provide network connectivity to one or more user equipments (UEs) via the mobile wireless node when wireless backhaul connectivity is lost between the mobile wireless node and the parent wireless node. The parent wireless node may authorize the mobile wireless node to use a first network connectivity mode, and the mobile wireless node may communicate with a first UE in accordance with the first network connectivity mode. In this way, the mobile wireless node may use a network connectivity mode to extend coverage of a network to the first UE even if the first UE is outside of the coverage area of the network.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for an autonomous fallback for a full-duplex beam pair. Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring multi-beam full-duplex communication that allows a device (e.g., user equipment (UE) or base station) to contemporaneously perform both uplink and downlink communication over the same frequency band. Because of the full duplex communication capability provided by the present disclosure, the NR system may achieve reduced latency and improved spectrum and resource efficiency, thereby accommodating a growing demands for the wireless communication. The full duplex communication capability may be achieved by implementing downlink control information (DCI) format that specifies to the UE the beam assignments for contemporaneous transmission (Tx) and reception (Rx). Particularly, beams may be selected such that the beam(s) assigned for communication are independent and uncorrelated, and therefore provide sufficient beam diversity in order to mitigate the limitations of current systems, including self-interference that has hindered implementation of full duplex communication in current systems.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a configuration that enables an apparatus to determine beam pairs for full duplex communication based on a cross-link interference procedure. The apparatus determines a subset of receive beams based on a beam measurement process, where each receive beam is associated with a different antenna array panel. In some aspects, the apparatus performs a channel measurement process based on the subset of receive beams. The apparatus sweeps through transmitted sounding reference signals from a same transmit beam corresponding to each receive beam of an antenna array panel and receives the transmitted sounding reference signals incrementally through other receive beams associated with other antenna array panels. The apparatus measures a self-interference for at least one beam pair of the subset of receive beams based on a received sounding reference signal. The apparatus selects one or more beam pairs based on a self-interference measurement or a signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio.
