Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may receive, using a first beam, a first physical random access channel (PRACH) communication during a first random access channel (RACH) occasion. The base station may receive, during the first RACH occasion, a data communication having a timing that is aligned with a timing of the PRACH communication to provide a beam switching gap before reception of a second PRACH communication during a second RACH occasion. Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to channel occupancy management for new radio side-link supporting star topology of user equipment devices are provided. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) determines a communication resources pool including a channel occupancy ratio (CR) gap of each UE of a plurality of UEs in communication with the first UE, a CR gap of each UE representing a difference between a CR limit of that UE and a CR of that UE, The UE also can communicate, to a second UE of the plurality of UEs, a first CR command configured to allow the second UE to access a first portion of the communication resources pool. In some aspects, an amount of the first portion can be different from an amount of the CR gap of the second UE in the communication resources pool.

Each of the plurality of PDSCH symbols or PUSCH symbols are contiguous and have a respective SLIV. The apparatus transmits the DCI to at least one UE.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support an index modulation (IM)-based acknowledgement codebook so use with sidelink feedback. In a first aspect, a first UE receives at least one sidelink transmission from a second UE with a sidelink control information (SCI) message that triggers least one IM-based feedback message codebook. The first UE may determine an IM-based feedback message sequence, determine, based on the feedback sequence, a resource for transmission of the IM-based feedback message, wherein a resource index corresponds to the determined feedback message sequence. The first UE may then transmit the IM-based feedback message codebook on the determined resource to the second UE over the sidelink. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A set of reference signal resources that are configured for sounding reference signal transmissions may be shared among user equipments (UEs) that are enabled to receive multicast communications. Each of the shared set of reference signal resources may be associated with set(s) of channel state information. UEs may measure a multicast channel to determine channel state information for the multicast channel and transmit sounding reference signals over one of the shared reference signal resources that is associated with the set of channel state information determined by the UE. A base station that receives the sounding reference signal may transmit a subsequent multicast transmission for the UEs using transmission parameters that are adapted for the set(s) of channel state information associated with the occupied sounding reference signal resource.
