摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques are described herein for encoding downlink control information (DCI) based on the number of transport blocks being scheduled by the DCI. The number of transport blocks supported by the DCI may be indicated explicitly using a field included in the DCI. The number of transport blocks can be implicitly signaled in a bitstream of the DCI block. The type of encoding scheme may be based on the coverage enhancement (CE) mode associated with a user equipment.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network may be configured to provide a beam measurement configuration to a UE that indicates durations for monitoring transmission beams, and tuning a component of the UE between the monitoring. The durations may include a first portion that a UE may use for a tuning operation and a second portion that the UE may use to monitor for or measure a respective reference signal. In various examples, the indicated durations may include a third portion that the UE may use for another tuning operation, or the durations may overlap with one another during an overlap duration that the UE may use for another tuning operation. During the indicated durations, the network may refrain from transmitting other downlink data or control information for the UE, and the UE may refrain from monitoring for such other downlink data or control information.

摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication that indicates whether a multicast and broadcast service (MBS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduled by downlink control information (DCI) is associated with a second PDSCH processing capability, wherein the second PDSCH processing capability has a shorter duration than a first PDSCH processing capability. The UE may receive, from the base station, the MBS PDSCH scheduled by the DCI. The UE may transmit, to the base station and based at least in part on the indication, hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback in accordance with the first PDSCH processing capability or the second PDSCH processing capability. Numerous other aspects are described.

摘要: A method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station on a granting group common (GC)-physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) downlink grant that schedules an MBMS transmission at each UE of a group of UEs that includes the UE. The method also includes receiving, from the base station on a triggering GC-PDCCH, a message indicating respective feedback resources for each UE of the group of UEs. The method further includes receiving, from the base station, the MBMS transmission. The method still further includes transmitting, to the base station via the feedback resources, a feedback report based on receiving the MBMS transmission.

A receiving device may use enhanced techniques for determining whether a transmission is scheduled to include new data when a mode for reporting acknowledgment feedback is disabled for one or more hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes used by the receiving device. An enhanced technique may include increasing a quantity of bits used to convey an indication of whether a scheduled data transmission includes new data. An enhanced technique may include monitoring a duration between transmissions scheduled by different control messages based on a timing parameter that indicates a maximum time between transmissions of a data set and corresponding transmission including the data set.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Described techniques provide for mitigating error in time or frequency adjustments for preambles of a random access procedure. A user equipment may use one value for the adjustment when transmitting data to a non-terrestrial network, but then transmit the preamble of a random access procedure according to a preamble-specific time or frequency adjustment based on one or more indications received from the network (e.g., rather than resetting the adjustment to “0”). By using some signaled value for the preamble-specific timing or frequency adjustment rather than resetting the adjustment to “0,” preamble reception performance may be maintained or improved with as many or fewer position measurements for the UE or non-terrestrial network entity.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a differential UE-specific timing advance (TA) based at least in part on a difference between a first UE-specific TA associated with a current global navigation satellite system (GNSS) position fix and a second UE-specific TA associated with a previous GNSS position fix. The UE may transmit, to a non-terrestrial network (NTN) node, an uplink message at a time that is based at least in part on the differential UE-specific TA. Numerous other aspects are described.
