Abstract: The method serves for operating at least one pump assembly (1, 1a, 5) of a multitude of pump assemblies (1, 1a, 5) which each comprise a programmable electronic motor (4, 4a, 6) control for individual pumps or groups or pumps, and which are at least temporarily data-connected to a server (8) via a network, with which data, in particular parameters and/or operating data of the multitude of pump assemblies (1, 1a, 5) is transferred via the network to a server (8) and is stored there in a data base. The stored data is processed according to defined typically statistical computation rules, whereupon the at least one pump assembly is then adapted in its programming via the network, on the basis of the processed data.

Abstract: A method evaluates a frequency spectrum representative of at least one time-dependent signal, the at least one time dependent signal being derived from an output from a measuring device under predetermined measuring device operating conditions. The time-dependent signal, includes a portion being representative of a wanted signal, and a portion being representative of noise. The method includes the steps of determining, based on the frequency spectrum of the signal, a value representative of the noise floor, identifying, based on the frequency spectrum of the signal derived under the predetermined operating condition, a peak component, and if the peak component satisfies a relative peak criterion determined on the basis of the determined value representative of the noise floor, determining the wanted signal by applying a predetermined algorithm. The invention further relates to a method for determining flow of a measuring device, and a sensor.

Abstract: A control method is provided for a filter system, which includes at least one filter element (2). The method includes continuously recording a total energy consumption (EG) during a filtration cycle (22) of the filter system. The total energy consumption (EG) includes at least of the energy consumption (EB) for a physical cleaning (24) and the energy consumption (EP) for the subsequent production cycle (23) up to a predefined, in particular current point in time. The method further includes computing a relative energy consumption (Erel) by way of division of the recorded total energy consumption (EG) by a net permeate volume (QN) which has been produced during the filtration cycle (22) up to the predefined point in time and starting a physical cleaning (24) in dependence on the relative energy consumption or of a characteristic value derived from this.

Abstract: A centrifugal pump assembly has an electric drive motor (2) and at least one impeller (10; 10′), which is movable in an axial direction (X) between at least two functional positions. In one functional position a flow path through the impeller (10; 10′) is essentially closed and in another functional position the flow path through the impeller (10; 10′) is opened. The impeller (10; 10′) in a first functional position is held by a magnetic force (FM) or a spring force and in a second functional position is held by a hydraulic force (FH) produced by a delivered fluid. An impeller is provided for the centrifugal pump assembly.
