Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating semi-static TCI configurations are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving, from a base station, a first downlink message including a TCI state indicator. The example method also includes initiating a timer after receiving the first downlink message including the TCI state indicator. Additionally, the example method includes receiving, after the timer expires, subsequent downlink messages using the indicated TCI state until a second downlink message including a TCI state change indication is received. An example method for wireless communication at a base station includes transmitting, to a UE, a first downlink message including a TCI state indicator. The example method also includes initiating a timer after transmitting the first downlink message including the TCI state indicator. Additionally, the example method includes transmitting, after the timer expires, subsequent downlink messages based on the indicated TCI state.

The plurality of CSI report parameters may be included in a CSI reporting configuration configured for the UE. The UE may transmit an indication of the selected CSI report parameter in uplink control information (UCI). Numerous other aspects are provided.

The method still further includes entering a sleep state upon not receiving a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) or physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) before the timer expires.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a UE to notify a base station about the availability of a relay UE that is not connected to the base station. In one aspect, a first UE or a second UE transmits or receives a relay request of the first UE via sidelink, the first UE being in an RRC connected mode with a base station. The first UE or the second UE receives or transmits, via the sidelink, an indication of relay availability of a second UE in an RRC inactive mode in response to the relay request. The first UE and the second UE receive a configuration from the base station for relay of communication from the base station over the sidelink between the first UE and the second UE.

The UE may receive a set of channel state information reference signals having a configuration that is based at least in part on the frequency allocation of the at least one of the dynamic resource grant, the SPS activation message or assignment, or the CORESET configuration.
