Abstract:
A conveyor system for transport of containers, in particular an airport baggage handling system, includes a conveyor having a curved transport path with one end defining an entry zone and another end defining an exit zone. The containers are moved by a container propulsion mechanism along the curved transport path between the entry and exit zones, wherein the curved transport path is constructed for movement of the containers in an inwardly inclined disposition for reducing centrifugal forces.
Abstract:
A flat stroke bi-directional conveyor for conveying object, granular and powder material. The unit utilizes the skewed sine wave trough stroke principle using primary eccentric counterweights wheels driven by a motor running at the secondary speed and equipped with the secondary eccentric counterweight wheels. The forces not in line with the trough stroke are absorbed with an isolation spring mounted between the drive assembly and the base.
Abstract:
A chain conveyor formed from a plurality of modules or links (1a, b, c) connected together by pins c2a, b) which are inserted through holes (4, 4A) present in the modules or links (1a, b, c) and are prevented from escaping by axially counteracting elements (5) mounted in seats (6) also present in the modules or links (1a, b, c), in which the axially counteracting elements (5) present a flexible tang (5c) which, when the axially counteracting element is mounted in the seat (6), intersects an end portion (4A) of the holes (4, 4A) through which the pin (2a, b, c) is inserted, to thus prevent the pin withdrawing from the holes (4, 4A), such withdrawal however being enabled by deflecting the flexible tang (5).
Abstract:
An end roller of a curved conveyor has an pivot shaft and a plurality of short rollers rotatably mounted on the pivot shaft. A bearing with an outer race of a larger outer diameter than the outer diameter of the short roller is interposed between at least the adjacent short rollers located near an outer peripheral side of the belt. A bearing having an outer race of the same size outer diameter as the outer diameter of the short rollers may also applicable. Frictional noises from the end rollers during the rotation of the conveyor belt may be suppressed.
Abstract:
A The invention relates to a strip, especially a drive belt, comprises comprising a fabric (G) as a tractional layer, the said fabric having a stitched twill weave on both sides. The inventive strip is such that it remains flexible while at the same time guaranteeing high force transmission. Due to the fact that the fabric has a stitched twill weave on both sides, the two sides thereof can be used.
Abstract:
A modular conveyor belt assembly having a plurality of modular links, each of the modular links including a pair of first projecting legs and a pair of second projecting legs, the first projecting legs each having an inwardly projecting engagement element and the second projecting legs each having an engagement slot. The plurality of modular links are interconnected to form a conveyor belt through engagement of the engagement elements in the engagement slots.
Abstract:
The crossover conveyor chain system includes a first conveyor chain (S1) and a second conveyor chain (S2) crossing the first conveyor chain (S1) to transfer the product from the first conveyor chain (S1) to the second conveyor chain (S2) while reorienting the product to a direction nearly perpendicular to that on the first conveyor chain (S1). The first conveyor chain (S1) is supported on an end bar (10) or a small-diameter sprocket, and the second conveyor chain (S2) is formed a plurality of chain unit pairs each including at least two types of chain units (A) different in length from each other and a coupling pin (B). Each of the chain units (A) has front convex portions (1) and front concave portions (3), disposed alternately at the front thereof, rear convex portions (2) and rear concave portions (4), disposed alternately at the back thereof, and a transfer overhanging portion (7) formed integrally at one lateral thereof. The transfer overhanging portion (7) has a beveled lower surface (8) formed on the lower side, at the free end, thereof and an inclined upper surface (9) formed on the upper side, at the free end, thereof. Because of this construction, the transfer overhanging portion (7) can be set short, and so it can be formed not easy to flex and break as well as to flex vertically, which assures to transfer the product stably and smoothly and prevent the load (weight) of the product from concentrating on a limited portion of the conveyor chain. Therefore, the crossover conveyor chain system is highly strong, rigid and durable, easy to be designed lightweight and compact, simple in construction, suitable for mass production, easy to assemble, easy to handle, and less expensive.
Abstract:
A chain with mutually connected chain links (1, 2) each comprising a back portion and two parallel wall portions protruding substantially perpendicularly therefrom, in which wall portions corresponding rivet holes have been provided in each of the two and members of the chain link, wherein the chain links (1, 2) are connected with one another by means of an end member of a chain link with a comparatively narrow (2) back portion which is inserted into an end member of a neighbouring chain link with a comparatively broad back portion (1) such that the rivet holes (1c, 2c) in the parallel wall portions of the two end members (1a, 1b,2a-2b) are positioned opposite one another for engaging a river (3) or a shaft member. By use of rivets or shaft members of such a length that the rivet (3) may be axially retained by deformation of areas of said wall portions (1a-1b) around the rivet holes (1c) from the exterior side for reducing the clear opening of the rivet holes, a chain is produced by use of less material and at subsequently reduced costs relative to chains hitherto known.
Abstract:
A belt conveyor comprising an endless, fixed-width belt mounted on a pulley provided on rollers. Protrusions are formed on the back surface of the endless, fixed-width belt, and each of the protrusions has a shape comprising inwardly curved front and rear sides and tapering towards its tip end, and the pulley that is detachably mounted to each of the rollers is formed with holes, and each of the holes has a shape that fits each of the protrusions of the belt. The protrusions of the belt snugly engage with holes of the pulley, thus preventing meandering of the rotating belt.
Abstract:
An interwoven belting fabric for using conveyors, including treadmills, is constructed of a dual layer of weft yarns comprising adjacent couplets, and a plurality of binder warp yarns. Each binder warp yarn extends over of couplets of weft yarns, and under a plurality of adjacent couplets of weft yarns so that the warp yarns extends under more couplets in the lower layer then extends over couplets in the upper layer.
