    摘要: The present invention relates to a belt (1) or a belt segment (1), having a plurality of reinforcement members (11) which run in the longitudinal direction (X) and are arranged parallel to one another and which are embedded at least substantially into an elastomer main body (10), and having at least one connection element (2) which is arranged on an open end (1a) of the belt (1) or of the belt segment (1), wherein the ends of the reinforcement members (11) are each at least substantially exposed by and/or left free of the elastomer main body (10), wherein the ends of the reinforcement members (11) are each connected in a force-fitting manner to at least one clamping element (12), and wherein the clamping elements (12) are held in a form-fitting manner in a connection section (A) by the connection element (2) at least in the longitudinal direction (X). The belt (1) or the belt segment (1) is characterized in that the connection element (2) has at least one extension element (25) which directly adjoins the connection section (A) in the longitudinal direction (X) and which at least sectionally forms an extension section (B) of the connection element (2) in the longitudinal direction (X), and in that the reinforcement members (11) of the open end (1a) of the belt (1) or of the belt segment (1) are received in the extension section (B) by the extension element (25) in such a way that the reinforcement members (11) are guided at least sectionally in a rectilinear manner in the longitudinal direction (X).

    摘要: A temperature detection device and method that can simply and accurately detect the presence or absence of abnormal heating of a conveyor belt. Correlation data between an electrical resistance value of a passive IC tag embedded in a conveyor belt and a temperature of the IC tag when it is activated is grasped in advance when the tag receives a transmitted radio wave from a non-contact detector. Data of electrical resistance value when the IC tag is activated is received by the detector through a returned radio wave returned from the tag in response to the transmitted radio wave transmitted from the detector toward the tag embedded in the conveyor belt running. A temperature at a position of the conveyor belt where the tag is embedded is calculated in accordance with the data of the electrical resistance value received and the correlation data.

    摘要: Rubber blends of SBR and EPDM having improved dynamic ozone resistance, heat resistance, and flex fatigue resistance can be made by co-curing such rubber blends with a sulfur donor/accelerator and a peroxide curing agent. In some aspects, these blends are void of free sulfur. These cured rubber formulations can advantageously be used in a wide variety of industrial rubber products, such as in conveyor belts. The disclosure also reveals conveyor belts which have a combination of good dynamic ozone resistance, heat resistance, and flex fatigue resistance. The conveyor belt include a carry cover layer, a pulley cover layer, and a reinforcement layer which is situated between the carry cover layer and the pulley cover layer, and the carry cover layer and/or the pulley cover layer contain cured rubber formulations according to the disclosure.

    摘要: A fabric carcass defines the base of a conveyor belt. A first polymer is coated or otherwise disposed over an exterior side of the fabric carcass to cure with a first layer thickness. The first polymer may be a polyvinyl chloride resin with a plasticizer additive to provide an added robustness to belt at a relatively low cost. Due to deterioration that may occur when certain polyvinyl chloride resins are used as the exterior surface of the conveyor belt, a second polymer is disposed over the cured layer of polyvinyl chloride to define an exterior surface that is configured for resiliently interfacing with a die press of a cutting or stamping station. The second polymer may be a polyester to provide improved resiliency and an exterior surface with better durability than the first polymer.

In some cases, a plurality of protective elements are arranged in a manner overlapping one another sectionally in the longitudinal direction.

    摘要: The present technology provides a rubber composition for a conveyor belt. The rubber composition comprises: a rubber component containing butadiene rubber and/or styrene butadiene rubber, carbon black, sulfur, and a vulcanization accelerator; the glass transition temperature of the butadiene rubber and the styrene butadiene rubber being −65° C. or lower; the nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of the carbon black being 90 m2/g or less; the total content of the butadiene rubber and the styrene butadiene rubber being 50% by mass or greater relative to the content of the rubber component; the content of the carbon black being from 30 to 50 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component; and the mass ratio (sulfur/vulcanization accelerator) of the content of the sulfur to the content of the vulcanization accelerator being 1.5 or less.
