    Abstract: A re-configurable center console assembly includes a center console assembly and a phone holder tray. The center console assembly has a main body that includes a first side wall and a second side wall defining a concaved storage area therebetween. The first side wall and the second side wall further define a plurality of retaining positions therebetween. The phone holder tray has a first side portion, a phone supporting portion and a second side portion. The first side portion is configured to manually attach, detach and re-attach to the first side wall. The second side portion is also configured to attach, detach and re-attach to the second side wall such that the phone holder tray is installed to a first of the plurality of retaining positions and is detachable and re-attachable to a second of the plurality of retaining positions.

    Abstract: A latch assembly includes a housing, a door latch member and a release member. The door latch member pivots about a first pivot axis. The release member pivots about a second pivot axis spaced apart from the first pivot axis located within the housing operatively coupled to the latch retaining member. An inertia activated lock-out mechanism is fixedly attached to the housing and includes a locking member within the housing that pivots about a third pivot axis spaced apart from the first and second pivot axes. The first, second and third pivot axes are all parallel to one another at fixed locations within the housing. The locking member pivots between a locking position preventing movement of the release member and a non-interfering position in which the locking member is spaced apart from the release member allowing the release member to be movable.

    Abstract: A vehicle body barrier has a vertical support, a first non-movable board and a second non-movable board. The vertical support is configured to be received in a vehicle body. The first non-movable board is fixedly attached to the vertical support. The second non-movable board is fixedly attached to the vertical support and is vertically spaced from the first non-movable board. The movable board is movably connected to the first non-movable board between a primarily offset position and a primarily overlapping position. The movable board is disposed between the first and second non-movable boards in the primarily offset position.

    Abstract: A first lamp assembly has a first attachment surface, a first transparent surface, a first side surface extending from the first transparent surface to the first attachment surface, and a first lighting member positioned to emit light through a portion of the first side surface. A second lamp assembly has a second attachment surface, a second transparent surface opposite the second attachment surface and a second side surface extending from the second transparent surface to the second attachment surface.     Abstract: Multi-acid polymers are produced having the formula R—SO2—NH—R′—(SO3H)n and made from a polymer precursor in sulfonyl fluoride form or sulfonyl chloride form The R is one or more units of the polymer precursor without sulfonyl fluoride or sulfonyl chloride, R′ is the portion of the amino sulfonic acid without the SO3H and NH, n is one or more, and the multi-acid polymer has two or more proton conducting groups. A method of making the multi-acid polymers includes reacting an amino acid having multiple sulfonic acids with a polymer precursor in sulfonyl fluoride form or sulfonyl chloride form in a mild base condition to produce the multi-acid polymer having two or more proton conducting groups.

    Abstract: A method for providing information to a driver of a vehicle includes obtaining host vehicle information that describes a first path to be traversed by a host vehicle, obtaining conflicting vehicle information that describes a second path to be traversed by a potentially conflicting vehicle, wherein the second path crosses the first path, determining a queue length representing a number of queued vehicles that are queued ahead of the host vehicle, determining a time-to-contact based on the host vehicle information and the conflicting vehicle information, and causing a warning alert to be output if the time-to-contact is less than a warning alert time value and the queue length is equal to or less than a warning alert length value.
