    Abstract: A cloaking apparatus and method are disclosed herein. The cloaking apparatus for cloaking a target object using meta-material includes a compensation unit, and a cloaking cell. The compensation unit is disposed in a second space surrounding part of a first space including the target object, and is composed of a first meta-material having a predetermined negative refractive index. The cloaking shell is configured to surround part of the compensation unit, and is composed of a second meta-material. The negative refractive index may be a negative refractive index that is adapted to cloak the target object by compensating for the positive refractive index of the first space.

    Abstract: A quantum mechanical arithmetic operation method for machine vision, based on orbital qubit is performed by a quantum processing processor. The quantum mechanical arithmetic operation method comprises, obtaining a first labeled graph connecting between feature points of the first image and a second labeled graph connecting feature points of the second image, generating a point-to-point combination by matching the feature points of the first image with the feature points the second image, generating a conflict graph by adding the largest point-to-point combination by comparing the point-to-point combinations with the threshold, generating non-constrained binary optimization equation for finding a maximum independent set of conflict graphs, converting the non-constrained binary optimization equation into Ising model of the quantum system, and calculating the Hamiltonian of Ising model based on an orbital qubit to obtain solution of the non-constrained binary optimization equation.

    Abstract: A method of estimating land surface temperature lapse rate using an infrared image is disclosed. In the method of estimating land surface temperature lapse rate using an infrared image, a target area for the estimation of land surface temperature lapse rate is selected. The atmospheric transmittance of the target area is calculated. Reference temperature is estimated at a reference location set in the target area as desired. A temperature difference is calculated from the atmospheric transmittance and the estimated reference temperature, and then a temperature difference image is generated. Land surface temperature lapse rate is estimated from the temperature difference image and a Digital Elevation Map (DEM) in an identical area using an elevation-based temperature difference distribution.

    Abstract: Disclosed are nanoparticles that are introduced into cells and express a specific protein and a manufacturing method thereof. More particularly, the present invention relates to mRNA nanoparticles, which increase the expression of a specific protein capable of stimulating the cellular immune system to induce cellular immune responses and are thus applicable to treat a variety of diseases, do not require passage across the nuclear envelope because a desired gene is delivered not as plasmid DNA itself but in the form of mRNA, thus improving the efficiency of protein expression, and the nanoparticles are generated through a one-step process with a relatively small amount of plasmid DNA via rolling circle transcription (RCT), thereby providing a simple and economical process for gene delivery. The present invention is also concerned with such mRNA nanoparticles.
