    Abstract: An apparatus and a method for sensing a display panel are provided. The apparatus includes a source driving circuit and a sensing circuit. The source driving circuit is coupled to data lines to drive the pixel circuits according to a display period comprising frame periods. The sensing circuit is coupled to a plurality of pixel circuits. The sensing circuit senses characteristics of the pixel circuits in the test data periods of the display period. The test data periods are periodically arranged in the display period. In each of the test data periods, a corresponding pixel circuit receives test data, and the sensing circuit senses the electrical characteristic of the corresponding pixel circuit. In the scan-line periods of each of the frame periods, the corresponding pixel circuit receives display data from a corresponding data line, and the sensing circuit does not sense the corresponding pixel circuit.

    Abstract: An integrated circuit for driving a display panel is provided. The integrated circuit includes a gamma mapping circuit and a mura compensation circuit. The gamma mapping circuit is configured to receive a gray level of an image data, map the gray level to a gamma code according to at least one gamma table, and output the gamma code. The mura compensation circuit is configured to receive the gamma code, and compensate the gamma code according to at least one de-mura table to generate a compensation result after the gamma mapping circuit performs the step of mapping the gray level to the gamma code. The integrated circuit drives the display panel according to the compensation result. In addition, a method for driving a display panel is also provided.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides a sensing apparatus and an operation method thereof. The sensing apparatus includes a sensing circuit, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) circuit, a disturbing circuit and an output circuit. The sensing circuit is configured to output a sensing signal indicating a sensing result of a sensing line of the display panel. The ADC circuit is coupled to the sensing circuit to receive the sensing signal and outputs sensing data related to the sensing signal. The disturbing circuit is coupled to the ADC circuit to receive the sensing data and generates a time-variant disturbance component to disturb the sensing data to generate disturbed data. The output circuit is coupled to the disturbing circuit to receive the disturbed data.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a video encoding circuit and a wireless video transmission apparatus and method. The wireless video transmission apparatus includes a wireless transmitter circuit and a video encoding circuit. The wireless transmitter circuit is configured to transmit a video stream with a bit rate to a wireless transmission channel and provide a transmission state message according to a transmission state of the wireless transmission channel. The video encoding circuit is coupled to the wireless transmitter circuit to receive the transmission state message. The video encoding circuit is configured to perform an encoding operation on video data to generate the video stream to the wireless transmitter circuit and dynamically adjust the bit rate of the video stream delivered to the wireless transmitter circuit according to the transmission state message.

    Abstract: A source driver of a display system includes a plurality of channels, and each of the plurality of channels includes a first latch, a second latch, an output driver and a comparator. The first latch receives a first data code and a second data code from a timing controller of the display system. The second latch receives the first data code from the first latch. The output driver is used for transmitting the first data code to a display panel of the display system. The comparator, coupled to the first latch, the second latch and the output driver, is used for comparing the first data code stored in the second latch with the second data code stored in the first latch, to generate a signal indicating a power level for the output driver to transmit the second data code.

    Abstract: A method for scaling up an image in a display device includes acquiring luminance data and color data of a plurality of pixels in the image; generating high frequency components according to the luminance data of a first pixel and a plurality of second pixels adjacent to the first pixel in each set of adjacent pixels among the plurality of pixels; adjusting the high frequency components corresponding to each set of adjacent pixels, for making a sum of the high frequency components corresponding to each set of adjacent pixels to be within a predetermined range; and transforming the luminance data of the first pixel, the high frequency components and duplicating the color data of the first pixel in each set of adjacent pixels, to generate image data of a plurality of scaling-up points between the first pixel and each of plurality of second pixels in each set of adjacent pixels.
