    Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a network node, a group of downlink transmissions. The method also includes segmenting a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgement (ACK) payload into a group of segments in accordance with a segmentation configuration. The method further includes forming, for each segment of the group of segments, a first HARQ-ACK part and a second HARQ-ACK part. The method also includes jointly encoding each first HARQ-ACK part and jointly encoding each second HARQ-ACK part. The method further includes transmitting the jointly encoded first HARQ-ACK parts and the jointly encoded second HARQ-ACK parts.

The method may include a user equipment (UE) receiving a first control information message indicating a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) codepoint mapped to one or more first TCI states. Additionally, the first control information message may activate a set of periodic occasions for communications with a first transmission and reception point (TRP), a second TRP, or both. After some time, the UE may receive a second control information message indicating a second TCI codepoint mapped to a single second unified TCI state and select a unified TCI state from the one or more first unified TCI states or the single second unified TCI state to apply to at least a portion of the communications.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support overlapping physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate thresholds. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may determine, for each subcarrier spacing (SCS) configuration of a set of SCS configurations, a threshold number of overlapping PDCCH candidates within a time interval. The UE may receive, from a base station, signaling indicating one or more PDCCH monitoring configurations. In some examples, the UE may monitor the PDCCH for control information according to the one or more PDCCH monitoring configurations and a number of overlapping PDCCH candidates, where the number of overlapping PDCCH candidates may satisfy (e.g., be less than or equal to) the threshold number of overlapping PDCCH candidates.

A user equipment (UE) may be configured with a bundling factor, may first generate a codebook, and may then bundle a quantity of bits into a single bit according to the bundling factor (e.g., may compress the sequence of bits into a smaller, second set of bits, where each bit of the second set of bits represents a quantity of the sequence of bits equal to the bundling factor). The UE may support cross downlink control information (DCI) bundling, in which case each bundle of the sequence of bits may be based on the bundling factor, instead of being based on the DCI (e.g., a given bundle may include feedback bits corresponding to occasions of multiple grants).

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein provide for linking downlink control information candidates across multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs) with cell discontinuous transmission (DTX) operations. A user equipment (UE) may determine a linkage status of linked downlink control information candidates across multiple TRPs with DTX operations. The UE may determine the linkage status based on a DTX status of the first TRP or a DTX status of the second TRP. When the DTX status of the first TRP or the second TRP is activated, the UE may determine the linkage status is a broken linkage. The UE may determine the linkage status as the broken linkage if one of the downlink control information candidates is within an inactive duration of a DTX cycle. The UE may determine the linkage status as the maintained linkage or broken linkage based on DCI format.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for configuration of multiple transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states and selection of a particular TCI state or TCI states for different instances of scheduled periodic communications between a user equipment (UE) and one or more transmission-reception points (TRPs) or base stations. A UE may receive, from a network entity, control signaling identifying two or more TCI states that are to be applied to communications of one or more channels subsequent to a determined time. The network entity may also provide a periodic communication configuration with a series of resource allocations for periodic communications, and a selection indication for which of the two or more TCI states are to be selected for the periodic communications. The UE may communicate via the one or more channels according to one or more TCI states based on the selection indication.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining and providing HARQ-ACK feedback corresponding to multiple PDSCHs scheduled by a DCI, which schedules a first PDSCH for transmitting repetitions of a first transport block (TB) and at least a second PDSCH for transmitting repetitions of a second TB. A UE monitors for repetitions of the first and the second PDSCH in a set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions corresponding to an uplink slot for transmitting the feedback. The set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions are based on a set of downlink slots corresponding to a reference repetition of each of the first TB and the second TB and a set of start and length indicator values (SLIVs) corresponding to the set of DL slots. The UE then transmits the feedback indicating results of the monitoring, based on a codebook generated according to the set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for enabling multi-TRP transmission in non terrestrial networks. In one aspect, a user equipment receives a first reference signal from a first satellite transmission reception point (TRP) at a first timing and receives a second reference signal from a second satellite TRP at a second timing. The first timing is synchronized with the second timing at a first geographic location. The user equipment receives a third reference signal from the first satellite TRP at a third timing and receives a fourth reference signal from the second satellite TRP at a fourth timing. The third timing and the fourth timing are synchronized at the user equipment. The user equipment receives an indication of a timing offset of the fourth reference signal with respect to the second reference signal and uses the third and fourth reference signals as a quasi colocation (QCL) source.
