Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a communication of a random access channel (RACH) procedure using a RACH occasion, of a plurality of RACH occasions, or a RACH preamble, of a plurality of RACH preambles, to indicate a value for a performance indicator associated with the UE, or using a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) occasion and indicating the value for the performance indicator in the communication. The UE may receive, in response to the communication of the RACH procedure, an additional communication of the RACH procedure. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may receive a first stage wakeup signal (WUS) indicating to monitor for a second stage WUS using a low power radio. For example, the first stage WUS may indicate whether to monitor one or more upcoming monitoring occasions for the second stage WUS using the low power radio. The UE may receive the second stage WUS based on receiving the indication included in the first stage WUS. The second stage WUS may indicate for the UE to activate a main radio to monitor for a control channel to receive data transmitted by the network entity. Based on receiving the second stage WUS, the UE may activate the main radio and receive data from the network entity.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Energy harvesting (EH)-capable devices may receive power from transmissions by other devices. The network may schedule a user equipment (UE) to provide an energy transfer transmission to an EH-capable device. The UE may be unable to perform the scheduled energy transfer transmission. A UE scheduled to perform an energy transfer transmission to an EH-capable device may transmit an indication to the network, the EH-capable device, or another UE that the UE will skip the scheduled energy transfer transmission. In response, the EH-capable device may not monitor for the scheduled energy transfer transmission, the network may schedule a different resource for an energy transfer transmission by the UE, the network may schedule a different UE to perform an energy transfer transmission to the EH-capable device, and/or another UE which received the indication may perform an energy transfer transmission to the EH-capable device.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for delay states having variable configurations. The apparatus transmits, to a network entity, a delay status report indicating an uplink delay detected by the UE, wherein the uplink delay is greater than a first threshold. The apparatus switches, subsequent to transmitting the delay status report, from a first state configuration to a second state configuration that is different than the first state configuration for transmission of uplink data before a delay budget is exceeded. The second state configuration is a delay critical state and comprises a set of configurations for the transmission of the uplink data. The apparatus communicates, with the network entity, based on the second state configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a configuration identifying a pattern where a network entity cycles between a first network operation state and a second network operation state, where the second network operation state may be associated with lower power consumption than the first network operation state. Based on the control signaling, the UE may switch from a first sidelink mode of operation to a second sidelink mode of operation, where sidelink communication of the UE is scheduled by the network entity for the first sidelink mode of operation and the sidelink communication of the UE is scheduled by the UE or a second UE for the second sidelink mode of operation. In response to switching, the UE may communicate, while operating in the second sidelink mode of operation, one or more sidelink messages with the second UE.
