Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a downlink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) generated from a downlink DMRS configuration. The method also includes transmitting, to the base station, an uplink DMRS generated from an uplink DMRS configuration. A value of one or more parameter(s) of the uplink DMRS configuration differs from a value of the parameter(s) of the downlink DMRS configuration. A method of wireless communication by a base station includes transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), a downlink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) generated from a downlink DMRS configuration. The method also includes receiving, from the UE, an uplink DMRS generated from an uplink DMRS configuration. A value of one or more parameter(s) of the uplink DMRS configuration differs from a second value of the parameter(s) of the downlink DMRS configuration.

A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a transmission power for a synchronization signal block (SSB) transmission by a base station, the indicated transmission power different than a default transmission power for SSB transmissions by the base station. The UE may determine a received power with which the SSB transmission is received at the UE. The UE may receive one or more downlink transmissions from the base station based at least in part on the received power for the SSB transmission and a difference between the default transmission power and the indicated transmission power for the SSB transmission.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for configuring sounding reference signal (SRS) transmissions on subband full-duplex (SBFD) slots. In an example, a user equipment (UE) may determine a change from a first uplink (UL) bandwidth pattern to a second UL bandwidth pattern occurred within in a sub-band full duplex (SBFD) bandwidth. The UE may also configure one or more settings for a sounding resource signal (SRS) transmission based on the second UL bandwidth pattern. The UE may also transmit, to a base station, the SRS transmission according to the one or more settings for the SRS transmission.

Abstract: Bandwidth part (BWP) configurations supporting various communication approaches (e.g., full duplex and/or half duplex operations) are described. Full duplex (FD) frequency-based BWP configurations may, for example, be configured as a subset of defined BWP resources for supporting full duplex operation by base stations and/or user equipments (UEs). Usable bandwidth of a FD frequency-based BWP configuration may be selected from half duplex frequency-based BWPs in legacy BWPs. Bandwidths of usable BWPs for a FD frequency-based BWP configuration may be selected so as to be non-overlapping in frequency. Transition between configurations and modes (e.g., between full duplex frequency-based BWP configurations, between half duplex and full duplex modes, etc.) may be managed to avoid periods in which a communication device cannot perform any uplink or downlink transmissions due to switching between defined BWP configurations, or otherwise reduces BWP switching time. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for channel sounding for wireless communications. Some implementations more specifically relate to scheduling sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets for wireless devices having more than 4 receive (RX) antenna ports. In some implementations, a base station may determine an antenna switching capability of a user equipment (UE). The antenna switching capability indicates a number of RX antenna ports of the UE. The base station schedules a number of SRS resource sets for the UE based at least in part on the number of RX antenna ports in excess of four. For example, the number of RX antenna ports may be equal to 8. As another example, the number of RX antenna ports may be equal to 6. The base station further receives, from the UE, uplink transmissions of one or more SRS resources for each of the scheduled SRS resource sets.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a downlink message via multiple receive antennas including a first group of receive antennas associated with a first antenna panel and a second group of receive antennas associated with a second antenna panel. The UE may generate two or more CSI reports based on receiving the downlink message, where each CSI report is associated with at least one of the first antenna panel or the second antenna panel. The UE may select at least one of the two or more CSI reports to transmit to the base station. In some examples, the UE may receive (e.g., via control signaling) a CSI report configuration and may select the at least one CSI report for transmission based on the CSI report configuration.

The UE may indicate, for each resource of a set of resources of the sidelink resource pool and based on the configuration, an indication of availability with respect to a first signal quality threshold and an indication of reliability of the availability with respect to a second signal quality threshold. The UE may select one or more resources of the sidelink resource pool based on the indication of availability and the indication of reliability of the availability for reach resource of the set of resources.
