Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a UE or base station may identify a first portion of a payload associated with a first priority and a second portion of the payload associated with a second priority less than the first priority. The UE or base station may select a first matrix associated with a first domain for the first portion of the payload and a second matrix associated with a second domain for the second portion of the payload based on a first maximum index interval for the first matrix being larger than a second maximum index interval for the second matrix. The UE may transmit or the base station may receive the first portion of the payload using one or more sequences associated with the first matrix and the second portion of the payload using one or more sequences associated with the second matrix.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first base station may communicate during asynchronous slots in accordance with a set of communication parameters determined from a handshake procedure performed with a second base station. For example, based on a change to a slot type of a slot to an asynchronous slot, the first base station and the second base station may perform the handshake procedure to determine the set of communication parameters and may communicate one or more messages during the slot in accordance with the set of communication parameters. Additionally, or alternatively, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) associated with a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state based on a slot type of a first slot in which the UE transmits the SRS and a reference signal received in a second slot having the slot type.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) supporting full duplex communications may determine that a set of downlink messages to be transmitted from a base station to the UE overlaps in time with a set of uplink messages to be transmitted from the UE. Accordingly, the UE may determine a downlink transmission power adjustment value for the set of downlink messages. In some examples, the base station may indicate the downlink transmission power adjustment value to the UE via radio resource control (RRC) signaling, a downlink control information (DCI) message, or both. The UE may transmit the set of uplink messages while simultaneously receiving the set of downlink messages with a transmission power that corresponds to the downlink transmission power adjustment value. Adjusting the transmission power for the set of downlink messages may reduce self-interference at the UE, the base station, or both.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a transmitting user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a configuration including criterion for selecting a sensing mode for a sidelink resource selection procedure. The transmitting UE may select the sensing mode based on the configuration and a duplex mode configured for a sensing window and determine available resources based on the performing channel sensing according to the selected sensing mode. The transmitting UE may then select one or more of the available resource to transmit one or more sidelink message to a receiving UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a multi-mode capability for communications by the UE within a frequency band, such that that UE may be capable of operating in any one of a half duplex time division duplex (TDD) mode and a full duplex frequency division duplex (FDD) mode within the frequency band. The UE may then transmit an indication of the multi-mode capability to a base station. The UE may receive, from the base station and responsive to the transmission of the indication, a communication format configuration that includes a partitioning between TDD mode communications and FDD mode communications for the frequency band.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a UE and/or base station. The apparatus can determine a first orthogonal matrix and a second orthogonal matrix, the first orthogonal matrix including a size of M×N1 with M×N1 rows and M×N1 columns, the second orthogonal matrix including a size of M×N2 with M×N2 rows and M×N2 columns. The apparatus can also determine a first codebook based on the first orthogonal matrix and a second codebook based on the second orthogonal matrix, the first codebook and the second codebook including a plurality of codepoints. Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication transmits a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) for at least eight orthogonal DMRS ports in a single symbol of at least one slot. The apparatus also transmits data in the at least one slot. The apparatus may correspond to a base station transmitting DMRS and downlink data. The apparatus may correspond to a user equipment (UE) transmitting DMRS and uplink data. The apparatus may bundle the DMRS across multiple slots with a bundled DMRS including a first set of the DMRS ports in a first single symbol of a first slot and a second set of the DMRS ports in a second single symbol of a second slot. The apparatus may transmit the DMRS in only a single slot in a physical resource block group (PRG) including two or more resource blocks using four frequency domain orthogonal cover codes (FD-OCC) and a frequency offset pattern.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described for user equipment (UE) indication of uplink scheduling information to a base station. The uplink scheduling information may provide information on a periodic traffic pattern, such as for periodic extended reality (XR) data flows. The uplink scheduling information may provide uplink assistance information (UAI) to a base station to assist the base station with providing uplink resources that efficiently serve an XR session. The UAI may indicate one or more of a periodicity of uplink traffic, an offset between uplink traffic and a packet arrival, a data size for uplink traffic for each time period associated with the XR session, a request to enable uplink transmission skipping, or any combinations thereof. A base station may provide one or more dynamic grants, configured grants, or proactive grants to a UE based on the uplink scheduling information.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may generate a Reed Muller generating matrix for an information bit vector that includes a plurality of information bits. The wireless communication device may remove, from the Reed Muller generating matrix, a row vector consisting of all 1-values to form a modified Reed Muller generating matrix. The wireless communication device may encode the information bit vector using the modified Reed Muller generating matrix to form a codeword. The wireless communication device may transmit the codeword without transmitting a pilot signal or demodulation reference signal for the codeword. Numerous other aspects are provided.
