Abstract: Various embodiments provide a communication method. The method includes: determining, by a terminal device, first uplink control information and second uplink control information. The first uplink control information or the second uplink control information comprises at least one of hybrid automatic repeat request information, channel state information, and scheduling request information. When the time domain resource corresponding to the first uplink control information overlaps with the time domain resource corresponding to the second uplink control information, the terminal device is configured to transmit third uplink control information on the overlapping time domain resource.

Abstract: A system and method for multiplexing traffic. A wireless device such as a user equipment (UE) may receive a first signal over first resources assigned to carry a first downlink transmission from a base station, and receive a first downlink control indication (DCI) message from the base station. The first DCI message may include a pre-emption region (PR) indication and a PR bitmap, and the PR indication may indicate a location of a time-frequency region. The PR bitmap may include bits associated with different portions of the time-frequency region, and each of the bits in the PR bitmap may indicate whether a preemptive downlink transmission is present in the corresponding portion of the time-frequency region.

Abstract: A data transmission method, including: receiving, by a terminal device on a first time domain resource, at least one piece of downlink data sent by a network device; and sending receiving status information to the network device on a second time domain resource. A transmission time interval of any piece of downlink data is less than a transmission time interval of the receiving status information, and the transmission time interval of the any piece of downlink data is less than 1 ms. According to the data transmission method, a transmission time interval of downlink data and a time interval between a sending time of the receiving status information and a receiving time of the at least one piece of downlink data are shortened, thereby reducing a latency.

Abstract: In the field of wireless communication technologies, method and apparatus for determining a transport block size (TBS) of a data channel are provided. In a communication network, a terminal device receives control information from a network device. The control information includes modulation indication information and resource information of the data channel. The terminal device determines a modulation order and a code rate according to the modulation indication information, and determines number of time-frequency resources according to the resource indication information of the data channel. The terminal device determines the TBS according to the modulation order, the code rate, and the number of time-frequency resources. Based on the determined TBS, the terminal device decodes the data channel carried on the time-frequency resources or sends the data channel on the time-frequency resources.
