    Abstract: The object of the invention is the hinge for controlled door closing and opening with damper which solves the technical problem of smooth and controlled closing and opening of the door before the end positions of the hinge, i.e. the open or closed position of the door. The damper fit surface (25) and the damper head fit surface (26) are always in contact with two of the limiting surfaces, i.e. two of the following: the damper stop on the housing for closing (21), the damper stop on the housing for opening (22), the damper stop on the guide for opening (23) and the damper stop on the guide for closing (24), whereby the damper (5) in the initial position constantly applies force in the direction of extension, meaning that the damper (5) constantly applies force to increase the distance between the damper fit surface (25) and the damper head fit surface (26), whereas the hinge guide (3) is dimensioned in such a way that the distance between the damper stop on the guide for opening (23) and the damper stop on the guide for closing (24) is smaller than the maximum distance between the damper fit surface (25) and the damper head fit surface (26).

    Abstract: The invention describes a fluid damper for furniture parts that are movable relative to one another, said fluid damper comprising a piston (4) guided movably in a cylinder (1) along a longitudinal axis. At least one through opening (4.1, 4.2) for fluid flowing through is provided in the piston (4) and/or between the piston (4) and cylinder (1). A sleeve (2) is arranged so as to be radially rotatable, relative to the piston (4) against a spring loading, about the longitudinal axis or about an axis running parallel thereto, which sleeve comprises, on its circumference, a number of wings (2.1, 2.2, 2.1′, 2.2′) corresponding to the number of through openings (4.1, 4.2). The spring loading is directed such that the wing (2.1, 2.2, 2.1′, 2.2′) exposes the through opening (4.1, 4.2) when the piston (4) is stationary in the cylinder (1) and in the event of a movement in a movement direction of the piston (4) and of the cylinder (1) relative to one another along the longitudinal axis, and progressively closes said through opening in the event of a movement against the movement direction with increasing relative speed between the piston (4) and cylinder (1) along the longitudinal axis. The fluid damper comprises a hollow-cylindrical part of the piston (4), which surrounds the sleeve (2) and the at least one wing (2.1, 2.2, 2.1′, 2.2′), which is arranged on the circumference of said sleeve, along at least part of the longitudinal axis thereof.

    Abstract: A hinge including: a first leaf assembly accommodating a portion of a first panel having a first cut-out section, the first leaf' assembly including a first insert component which is tight fittingly receivable within the first cut-out section; a second leaf assembly, hingedly coupled to the first leaf assembly, for accommodating a portion of a second panel having a second cut-out section; one or more biasing components to bias the hinge toward a closed position; and a dampener to slow movement of the first and second leaf assemblies to the closed position, a first portion of the dampener is located within the first insert component and a second portion is configured to at least partially retract within the first insert component when coining into contact with the second leaf assembly during movement, a second portion of the dampener extends and retracts along an axis coplanar with the first panel.
