Abstract:
An optical scanning device is useful for scanning business cards. The optical scanning device includes an image scanner, a roller and a support base. The image scanner scans a surface of a card. The roller moves the card across a surface of the image scanner. The support base is arranged to support the image scanner on a horizontal surface so that an axis of rotation of the roller is not parallel to the horizontal surface. This results in the image scanner scanning cards in a non-horizontal orientation.
Abstract:
A scanning device comprising a first image sensor, a second image sensor module and a housing. The first image sensor module has a first image array sensor for scanning information from a first side of media. The second image sensor module is mounted opposite the first image sensor module so that the media can move to a scanning region between the first image sensor module and the second image sensor module. The second image sensor module has a second image array sensor for scanning information from a second side of the media. A housing is attached to the second image sensor module. When the media moves to the scanning region between the first image sensor module and the second image sensor module and exits the scanning region, when the media reenters the scanning region, the media impacts a convex region of the housing that causes the second image sensor module to move with respect to the first image sensor module and to thus provide sufficient separation distance between the second image sensor module and the first image sensor module to allow the media to re-enter the scanning region.
Abstract:
A scanner with a simplified document feeding path is provided for scanning a document. The scanner includes a paper path, a conveying mechanism, an optical module and a scan window. The conveying mechanism conveys the document along the paper path. The optical module, rotatably disposed, captures an image of the document conveyed to a first position and a second position in the paper path, wherein the optical module captures a front-side image of the document at the first position and a back-side image of the document at the second position. The scan window, mounted on the optical module, is turned toward the first position and the second position as the optical module rotates, and the optical module captures the image of the document through the scan window.
Abstract:
A flatbed scanner includes a housing, a transparent platen atop the housing for receiving an object to be scanned, and a carriage operable to travel along a horizontal direction and a vertical direction. The carriage includes a light source for illuminating the object and a rectangular photodetector array for simultaneously detecting light intensity of multiple scan lines.
Abstract:
A kind of device to transfer photo images into digital data includes a body wherein photo taking mechanisms are set inside and insert-fit grooves and positioning mechanisms are set with internal lighting assembling plates at the other side. The integrated photo clamps for clamping photos are put in the interior of the body through insert-fit grooves. By usage of simple operations, the images on the taken photos by photo taking mechanisms can be transferred into digital data for convenient storage, modification, or copying then printing the new photos. Thus, the present invention is rich of convenience and advancement.
Abstract:
A film conversion device that includes a body, a frame, a bottom brace and a bottom cover wherein the frame body is assembled to the upper portion of the bottom brace and then housed within the combination of the body and the bottom cover. A camera lens and image sensor is set above the frame and the combination of the camera lens and digital sensor is utilized to capture the images on the film and covert the images into digital data capable of being stored by a general purpose computing device or memory device.
Abstract:
A kind of device to transfer film image into digital data includes a body, a frame, a bottom brace and a bottom cover wherein the frame body is assembled to the upper portion of the bottom brace and the while the body is housed in the body then the bottom cover is assembled and sealed below. A camera lens is set above the frame. A back light mechanism is set inside the bottom brace. One long groove each is set to two sides of the body and a film plate clamp is inserted from one side. This film plate clamp can fix the film plate inside and position to the top of the back light mechanism. The camera lens is utilized to access the images of the film and transfer the images into digital data to be sent to another computer for storage. The objects of rapid transfer the images on the film into the digital data for easy modification and permanent storage are thus achieved.
Abstract:
An imaging apparatus includes a scan bar having a scanner head. A drive mechanism is drivably coupled to the scan bar. A controller is communicatively coupled to the scanner head and the drive mechanism. A scanner body has a cover defining a scanner opening in which a document glass is mounted. The scan bar is located below the cover. The scanner body has a home position opening separate from the scanner opening that passes through the cover. A scanner lid is pivotably coupled to the scanner body. The scanner lid has a home protrusion located for mating engagement with the home position opening of the scanner body when the scanner lid is closed to define a home position for the scanner head.
Abstract:
In an image reading apparatus which can read a transparent original and reflection original, a white background is formed like a sheet. The image reading apparatus is arranged to be movable by a pair of rollers which rotate using, e.g., the driving source of an original feeder. To read a transparent original, the white sheet is moved by the pair of rollers to a position where a transparent original reading illumination unit is exposed. This makes it possible to eliminate trouble in detaching the white background mounted on the back of an original platen in accordance with the type of an original to be read.
Abstract:
A support structure which can hold an image reading apparatus in a vertically placed condition is provided. On a bottom portion of an apparatus main body 1 in such a horizontally placed condition that a document table glass 2 is installed nearly horizontally, a storage portion 1c for storing the support structure is provided, and support structures 31, 32, 33 are released from the storage portion and get into around the side of a document cover 6 and a hinge 7, from the bottom portion, and holds the apparatus main body 1 in a vertically placed condition.
