Abstract: Example implementations relate to method and controller for secure management of a rack. The method includes generating a first unique identifier corresponding to a rack profile of the rack hosting rack devices including physical devices and logical devices, in accordance with a rack topology, wherein the rack profile is based on configuration of the rack devices and the rack topology. Further, the method includes receiving information corresponding to the rack profile of the rack from peripheral devices disposed in the rack, wherein the information is based on monitored condition of the rack devices and the rack topology. The method further includes generating a second unique identifier based on the information, and determining variation in the rack profile based on comparison of the first and second unique identifiers. Further, the method includes generating an alert signal in the rack, in response to determination of the variation in the rack profile.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to a compute node having a chassis with front installed trays. The chassis includes a base, a pair of walls, each coupled to a peripheral side of the base, and a first top cover portion coupled to the pair of walls to cover a portion of the chassis. The compute node further includes a plurality of first latches coupled to a rear end inner surface of the first top cover portion. The plurality of trays is slidable from a front side of the chassis and at least one tray is fastened to at least one first latch. Each tray includes a front cover, a floor coupled to the front cover, a pair of brackets coupled to the floor, a pair of risers, where each riser is coupled to a respective bracket, and a pair of GPU card assemblies, where each GPU card assembly is plugged to a respective riser.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a method of handling block acknowledgements. A transmitting device transmits a first packet to a receiving device in response to determining that a count of unacknowledged frames is smaller than a threshold value. In particular, the transmitting device configures the first packet such that the receiving device does not need to send a block acknowledgement (BA) immediately after receiving the first packet. Further, before transmitting any additional packet to the receiving device, the transmitting device may again ascertain whether the count of the unacknowledged frames is smaller than the threshold value. In response to determining that the count of the unacknowledged frames is greater than or equal to the threshold value, the transmitting device transmits a second packet requesting an immediate BA. The transmitting device may receive a BA for the unacknowledged frames in response to receipt of the second packet by the receiving device.

Abstract: A thin, single-layer thermally conductive jacket surrounds a PCA. One or more living springs integrated in the jacket exert compressive force on PCA components where cooling is desired. The compressive force creates and maintains a thermal contact though which heat is conducted out of the PCA components and into the jacket. The jacket conducts the heat (either directly or indirectly) to a liquid-cooled cold plate configured as a cooling frame surrounding one or more of the jacketed PCAs. The jacket, optionally through intermediate thermal transfer devices such as heat spreaders or heat pipes, transfers heat from components on the PCA to the cooling frame. Liquid flowing through the cooling frame's internal channels convects the heat out of the electronic device. Turbulence encouraged by turbulence enhancing artifacts including bends and shape-changes along the internal channels increases the efficiency of the convection.

Abstract: In an example, a switch may receive an authentication request from a host associated with a first wireless access point (WAP) connected to the switch. The switch acts as a VXLAN Tunnel Endpoint (VTEP) in a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN) based Virtual Extensible Local Area Network (VXLAN). The switch forwards the authentication request to an authentication server and on successful authentication of the host, may associate a role information with the host based on an authentication response from the authentication server. Further, the switch may create a BGP extended community field carrying the role identifier indicative of network policies to be implemented for the host and attach the BGP extended community field with a route advertisement. The switch then sends the route advertisement to another switch. The another switch is configured as a peer VTEP in the VXLAN. The switch and the another switch is configured in a single Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN).

Abstract: Examples of techniques for Association Identifier (AID) assignment are disclosed. In an example, a controller managing an AP may allocate a set of numbers for AID assignment to clients connecting to VAPs in a multiple BSSID set of the AP. The controller may configure the AP to assign AIDS to non-Multi-Link (non-ML) clients from a first subset of the set based on a first monotonic sequence and assign AIDS to ML clients from a second subset of the set based on a second monotonic sequence. The AP may receive an association request from a client to associate with a VAP of the multiple BSSID set, determine whether Multi-Link operation (MLO) is enabled for the client, and in response to determining that MLO is disabled for the client device, assign a first AID to the client from the first subset based on the first monotonic sequence.
