A communication device, otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may receive, in a first control resource set (CORESET), a first downlink control information (DCI) message scheduling a first uplink shared channel, the first CORESET corresponding to a first CORESET pool index. The UE may receive, in a second CORESET, a second DCI message scheduling a second uplink shared channel, the second COREST corresponding to a second CORESET pool index different from the first CORESET pool index, where the second DCI message may be received before transmission of the first uplink shared channel. The UE may transmit both the first uplink shared channel and the second uplink shared channel based on the first uplink shared channel and the second uplink shared channel corresponding to a same hybrid automatic repeat request (HARM) process.
