    Abstract: A pin portion in which an introduction orifice leading to a back-pressure chamber is formed is disposed along inner peripheries of a main body, a main valve, and a pilot casing. A nut disposed on the pin portion is rotated relative to the pin portion to fasten the main body, the main valve, and the pilot casing together. This eliminates the necessity of machining a tool engagement portion in the pin portion and represses an increase in man-hours.

    Abstract: An electrically controlled differential gear is disposed between a right front wheel and a left front wheel of a vehicle. The electrically controlled differential gear includes a clutch mechanism that limits a differential operation of the electrically controlled differential gear. A second ECU (control portion) obtains information as to failure associated with actuation of a right front electric brake mechanism. The second ECU obtains a physical amount relating to a required braking force which is applied to the left front wheel and the right front wheel. The second ECU outputs a differential limiting control command for limiting the differential operation of the electrically controlled differential gear to the clutch mechanism (or more specifically, a differential ECU that controls the clutch mechanism) based on the information as to the failure and the physical amount relating to the required braking force.

    Abstract: A drive device for an electric motor according to the present invention includes a first relay that turns a power supply line on and off leading from a power supply to an electric motor, a resistor provided on a bypass line that bypasses the first relay, a second relay that turns the bypass line on and off, a relay control circuit that outputs a relay control signal common to the first relay and the second relay, and a delay unit that delays the turn-on timing based on the relay control signal of the first relay later than the turn-on timing based on the relay control signal of the second relay. This configuration makes it possible to add a function for suppressing an inrush current without increasing the number of output connectors of a relay control circuit.
