    Abstract: In some implementations, cooling fans can be mounted in a server chassis using a multi-level vibration dampening mechanism to reduce the transmission of fan vibrations to the server chassis. For example, a plurality of cooling fans can be housed within a plurality of fan cages. The plurality of fan cages can be mounted to a cooling fan tray. The cooling fan tray can be mounted to the chassis. For example, the mountings used to attach the fan cages to the tray and the tray to the chassis can include resilient vibration dampers. Thus, the vibrations generated by the cooling fans can be more effectively reduced and operation of vibration sensitive server components can be improved.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a data-sharing system, including a media server, a first device and a second device. The media server has a media server address and is configured to store at least one media file. The first device is configured to download the media file from the media server according to the media server address, and play the media file on a media player program.     Abstract: A system, method and computer-readable storage devices for providing protection mechanisms to a server motherboard prior to its booting. A system configured according to this would, upon receiving power at a motherboard, and prior to booting the motherboard: generate a nonce, send the nonce to a first component on the motherboard, and send the nonce to a second component on the motherboard. The system then receives a response from at least one of the first component on the motherboard and the second component on the motherboard, wherein the response is based on a communication protocol between the first component and the second component, the communication protocol utilizing the nonce. When the response indicates a correct hardware configuration, the system performs the booting of the motherboard.

    Abstract: A one-direction conduction device includes a first transistor and a driving circuit. The first transistor has a control terminal coupled to a first node, and input and output terminals respectively coupled to input and output electrode terminals of the one-direction conduction device. In the driving circuit, a switch circuit is coupled to the input electrode terminal and a second node. A second transistor has a base and a collector both coupled to a third node, and an emitter coupled to the second node. A first resistor is coupled to the third node and ground. A third transistor has a base coupled to the third node, an emitter coupled to the output electrode terminal, and a collector coupled to the first node. The second resistor is coupled between the first node and the ground. The switch circuit breaks off a reverse leakage current path of the one-direction conduction device.

    Abstract: A server assembly having a housing and a tray mounted in the housing are provided. The tray had a top surface and a front surface, and an open position in which the top surface of the tray is accessible and a closed position in which the top surface of the tray is inaccessible. A first set of chip connections in the top surface can vertically removably receive at least one first storage device. The front surface of the tray can define at least one opening below the top surface configured to horizontally removably receive at least one second storage device. The first set of chip connections electronically couple the at least one first storage device with the server assembly and are inaccessible when the tray is in the closed position, and the openings are accessible regardless of whether the tray is in the open or closed position.
