    摘要: A fan characterization and control system includes a chassis housing a plurality of components and a fan system. A controller system is coupled to the components and the fan system and configured to detect fan devices in the fan system that are connected to the controller system via respective fan connectors. The controller system determines fan performance categories of each of the fan devices based on signals communicated by each of the fan devices through at least one pin on the respective fan connectors. The controller system accesses a fan performance database that stores different fan performance categories and respective fan performance characteristics for each of the different fan performance categories. The controller system uses fan performance information that is associated in the fan performance database with each of the fan performance categories determined for the fan devices to configure the components and the fan system for operation.

    摘要: A series fan inclination structure includes an inclined frame body assembly, a first rotor assembly and a second rotor assembly. The inclined frame body assembly has a receiving space. The receiving space includes a first space, a second space and a flow guide passage. A first base seat is obliquely disposed in the first space. A second base seat is obliquely disposed in the second space. The flow guide passage is formed between the first and second base seats in communication with the first and second to spaces. The first and second rotor assemblies are correspondingly rotatably disposed on the first and second base seats. The series fan inclination structure is able to greatly reduce the vibration and lower the noise caused by the interaction of the dipole.

    摘要: A fan arrangement has a plurality of fans arranged in parallel to each other and configured to generate airflow along a common main flow direction. A flow channel is assigned to each fan, and a respective flow channel has a flap that can be swiveled between an open position and a closed position. The flap is constructed and positioned within the flow channel in such a way that it is supported by the airflow in the open position and brought into the closed position by a reverse flow opposing the airflow. This arrangement reliably prevents a fluidic short circuit in the event of failure of individual fans, and ensures natural draft convection in the event of failure of all fans. The flap is constructed in such a way that it is brought into the open position when no air is flowing due to its intrinsic weight.
