Abstract: A device for clamping and unclamping tools in a collet comprises a tool holder, a collet and a movable tensioner. The tool holder has a machine side and a tool side that is configured to accommodate a tool shank of a tool. The collet is arranged for clamping the tool shank inside the collet, the collet having a conical outer surface, which rests against a correspondingly shaped inner surface of the tool holder. The tensioner is configured to effect an axial movement of the collet with respect to the tool holder when the tool holder is thermally expanded, for clamping and unclamping the collet with the tool shank therein. The tensioner is arranged inside the tool holder on the machine side of the collet. A method is used to clamp tools in a collet of a tool holder.

Abstract: A surgical grip for receiving a handpiece shaft for conjoint rotation therewith and/or for receiving a medical tool in such a way as to transmit torque, includes a carrier sleeve on which at least one coupling component provided for coupling the handpiece shaft is attached such that the at least one coupling component can be brought to a coupled position and to an uncoupled position in the operating state, wherein the at least one coupling component can be brought into contact with an activation unit which is arranged between the carrier sleeve and to an outer actuation sleeve, wherein a rotation securing unit present inside the actuation sleeve acts on the activation unit in a spring-biased manner in the operating state such that the activation unit is held secure against rotation relative to the carrier sleeve.

The router includes a gear mechanism that is configured to couple and decouple from a second end of the driven shaft such that a rotation of the gear mechanism when the gear mechanism is coupled to the second end of the driven shaft causes at least one of tightening and loosening of the collet.
