    Abstract: An exterior member that is favorably manufactured, a case having the exterior member and a timepiece having the case are provided. The exterior member includes an exterior main body section in which a first resin layer is provided on one side of a sheet member formed of carbon fiber and a cutout recess section from which a portion of the sheet member is exposed is provided in the first resin layer on the one side of the sheet member, and a protection member which covers the cutout recess section of the first resin layer. Accordingly, the exterior member is favorably manufactured with its strength being increased.

    Abstract: An electronic musical instrument in one aspect of the disclosure includes; a plurality of operation elements to be performed by a user for respectively specifying different pitches; a memory that stores musical piece data that includes data of a vocal part, the vocal part including at least a first note with a first pitch and an associated first lyric part that are to be played at a first timing; and at least one processor, wherein if the user does not operate any of the plurality of operation elements in accordance with the first timing, the at least one processor digitally synthesizes a default first singing voice that includes the first lyric part and that has the first pitch in accordance with data of the first note stored in the memory, and causes the digitally synthesized default first singing voice to be audibly output at the first timing.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a moving body, first and second sensors, and a processor. The first sensor detects the moving body passing a reference position while moving along a first axis. The second sensor outputs a second phase signal of a second phase according to the moving body moving along the first axis, wherein the second phase is shifted from a first phase. In a setting mode, the processor stores information data indicating a level of the second phase signal at a time when the first sensor detects the reference position. In an operation control mode, the processor sets, as a position pertaining to an origin on the first axis, a position of an earliest edge of the first phase after the second phase signal switches from a level identical with the level stored in the setting mode to a different level after the first sensor detects the reference position.

    Abstract: An object is to easily and appropriately identify the orientation of imaging means at the time of image capturing. A control section of an imaging device or an image processing device acquires an image captured by an imaging section and performs image recognition processing of recognizing a photographic subject corresponding to a first orientation such as a horizontal imaging orientation or a vertical imaging orientation in the image so as to judge whether a predetermined photographic subject is present in the image. Then, based on the judgment result, the control section identifies whether the orientation of the imaging device or the imaging section at the time of image capturing is the first orientation or a second orientation.
