Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for half-duplex handling with system-wide feedback resources. Embodiments include determining, for a first feedback resource corresponding to a first time period, that the wireless node has a scheduled feedback transmission and a scheduled feedback reception on shared frequency resources. Embodiments include selecting one of the scheduled feedback transmission or the scheduled feedback reception based on a rule. Embodiments include using the feedback resource to perform the selected one of the scheduled feedback transmission or the scheduled feedback reception.

Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for vehicle emergency vehicle-to-anything (V2X) notification based on sensor fusion are presented. In some embodiments, a vehicle may receive an indication of an issue or impairment of the vehicle or an occupant of the vehicle, including the driver. Using information from sensors within the vehicle, an on-board processor may determine the nature of the impairment. Information about the nature of the impairment may then be transmitted, using V2X notification, to neighboring vehicles and/or an infrastructure entity (e.g., a base station, a roadside unit, a radio tower, and/or a central application server). The neighboring vehicles may then negotiate using V2X communication with the impaired vehicle and the other neighboring vehicles and/or be directed by the infrastructure entity to proceed using a negotiated course of action that accounts for the nature of the impairment in the impaired vehicle.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a distributed channel access mechanism using multiple access (MA) signatures for control transmissions. In one aspect, a transmitting device determines a MA signature for distinguishing a transmission of the transmitting device from another transmission of another transmitting device on a same frequency resource, transmits sidelink control information using the MA signature on a first set of frequency resources, the sidelink control information corresponding to first data information, transmits the first data information on the first set of frequency resources, and receives, from a receiving device, a response indicating whether reception of the first data information was successful. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide synchronization techniques for user equipment (UEs) that may be otherwise unable to support sidelink communication a synchronized UE and may have also lost global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and/or Evolved Node Base Stations (eNBs) as a synchronization source. In such instance, the unsynchronized UE may utilize reference signals (RS) from the data packets received from other UEs to track the timing and perform autonomous timing adjustments based thereon for synchronized packet transmission or reception.

QUALITY OF SERVICE (QOS) CONGESTION CONTROL HANDLING

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method of operating a scheduled entity for wireless communication. In some aspects, the scheduled entity determines to modify a first quality of service (QoS) level for a data transmission from the first device to a second device, wherein the first device is configured to communicate with the second device through a direct wireless communication link, and wherein the first QoS level is requested by an application of the first device. The scheduled entity modifies the first QoS level to a second QoS level, wherein the direct wireless communication link is able to support the second QoS level and is unable to support the first QoS level. The scheduled entity transmits the data transmission based on the second QoS level.
