Abstract: This document describes techniques using, and objects embodying, a haptic feedback mechanism for an interactive garment. A wearable interactive garment (e.g., a jacket, shirt, or pants) may include various sensors that can sense user interactions in the form of single or multi-touch-input (e.g., gestures). A haptic feedback mechanism is integrated within the interactive garment and includes a vibration source (e.g., a vibration motor) and a transmission structure coupled to the vibration source. A controller is configured to control the haptic feedback mechanism to provide haptic feedback by causing the vibration source to distribute vibration to multiple vibration points within the transmission structure.

The single-activity display includes a parameter-entry display configured to select a parameter for the single activity and to send a signal to the single activity corresponding to the selected parameter, a heads-up display configured to send a heads-up message about the single activity to a user, a location display configured to display information related to a location of the single activity, a status indicator configured to display a status based on the status parameter of the single activity, and a status-entry display configured to, upon selection, send a signal to change the status indicator of the single activity.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for presenting related media content items are provided. In accordance with some implementations, a method for providing media guidance is provided, the method comprising: receiving, from a user device, a search query for a media content item; determining a plurality of media content items that are related to the media content item; determining a plurality of keywords associated with each of the plurality of related media content items; generating a document containing the plurality of keywords that are associated with each of the plurality of related media content items; calculating a score for each of the plurality of keywords in the document based on a term frequency and an inverse document frequency for each of the plurality of keywords; selecting a first keyword from a list of the plurality of keywords based at least in part on the calculated score; determining a first subset of related media content items, wherein each media content item in the first subset is associated with the selected first keyword; removing the selected first keyword from the list of the plurality of keywords and selecting a second keyword from the list of the plurality of keywords based at least in part on the calculated score; determining a second subset of related media content items, wherein each media content item in the second subset is associated with the selected second keyword; and causing the first subset and the second subset of related media content items to be presented along with a relatedness indicator, wherein the relatedness indicator is generated using the first keyword for the first subset and the second keyword for the second subset.

Abstract: A method includes a processor of an electronic device receiving first input signals from a first sensor in response to user contact at a first edge of the device and second input signals from a second sensor in response to user contact at a second edge of the electronic device. The first and second sensors are covered by a housing of the device. The processor determines an external context of the device based on analysis of the first input signals and the second input signals. The determined external context indicates at least a position of the device relative to a user or an orientation of the device relative to a user. Responsive to determining the external context, the electronic device executes a particular user input action.

Including the prediction blocks and super-prediction blocks for the sub-blocks in a super-prediction block for the current block may include filtering at least a portion of each prediction block and each super-prediction block based on a spatially adjacent prediction block. Super-transform coding may include transforming the super-prediction block for the current block using a corresponding super-transform.

Abstract: A method for identifying an interfering transmitter in a network is disclosed. The method includes receiving an interference indication indicating interference between transmitters in the network. The method includes ceasing transmitting operations of all of the transmitters in the network for a threshold period of time. The method includes soliciting an interference assessment of the network for the threshold period of time when all of the transmitters in the network ceased the transmitting operations. When the interference assessment indicates cessation of the interference between the transmitters in the network, the method includes determining that the interfering transmitter resides inside of the network; and executing an interference isolation routine configured to identify the interfering transmitter.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for retargeting content in a search environment. A method can include receiving a request for a content item to be provided with a search results page and determining that one or more retargeted content items are eligible for presentation with the search results page. Each retargeted content item is a content item that is eligible for presentation with the search results page based on: (1) the search query matching a targeting keyword for the retargeted content item, and (2) the user identifier matching a retargeted identifier that is included in a retargeting set for the retargeted content item. A responsive content item to be presented with the search results page is selected, based at least in part on bids that are associated with the retargeted content items, and data specifying the responsive content item are provided.
