摘要: A compensation membrane and a pen or the equivalent including a compensation membrane. The compensation membrane being configured for compensating a pressure difference between the outside and the inside of a free ink reservoir of a pen or the equivalent. The membrane including a first portion having a first rigidity and a second portion having a second rigidity, the first rigidity being less than the second rigidity.

摘要: A method for infiltrating a substance into a heterogeneous solid of a material of an elastomeric strap to form a logo that includes providing a permeating substance and a heterogeneous solid of the elastomeric strap. The heterogeneous solid comprises a first region, a second region, and an interface region interposed between the first region and the second region. The method also includes applying an energy to the heterogeneous solid with the energy of an amount sufficient to render the interface region temporarily permeable; applying a driving force configured to infiltrate the permeating substance into the interface region to form the logo; and, modifying the application of the energy, thereby rendering the interface region impermeable and causing a portion of the permeating substance to disperse into the first region.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a system that includes a camera, a shadow device that mimics, copies, or duplicates the properties of the camera, and a controller. The controller can be located in the same vicinity as the shadow device, where the camera is in a remote location. An operator can receive feedback that mimics what they would be experiencing if they were operating the camera directly. The controller then manipulates the remote camera based on the input from the operator. The system of the present disclosure allows for a camera operator to be in a remote location, and it still provides accurate, real-time feedback to the operator. Unlike current systems, the present system provides instantaneous or near-instantaneous feedback for cameras in remote locations.

摘要: A method of coextruding polymeric materials into multiple layers of desired thickness to form a tubular workpiece. The method includes conveying a first polymeric material through a main extruder and a second polymeric material through a coextruder. The second polymeric material has dispersed therein an amount of electrically conductive particles effective to impart electrical conductivity to the tubular workpiece. The method further includes simultaneously extruding the first polymeric material and the second polymeric material through a coextrusion die to form the tubular workpiece. The tubular workpiece is extruded in the form of one or more outer layers having the first polymeric material and one or more inner layers comprising the second polymeric material. A tubular workpiece prepared by the method of coextruding polymeric materials into multiple layers of desired thickness. A system for coextruding polymeric materials into multiple layers of desired thickness to form a tubular workpiece is also provided.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a security sheet comprising a security element (11), a core structure (10) for forming the security sheet, a stack (29) including such a core structure (10), a security sheet comprising the core structure (10) or stack (29) and a security document comprising the security sheet. At least one perforation (20) is formed through, from a first core surface (13) to a second core surface (14) of, at least one core layer (12) comprising plastic. A security element (11) is fed through the at least one perforation (20) such that the security element (11) extends through, from the first core surface (13) to the second core surface (14) of, the at least one core layer (12). At least one first region (17) of the security element (11) is located over part of the first core surface (13) and at least one second region (18) of the security element (11) is located over part of the second core surface (14).
