A signal processing apparatus includes a decoder for decoding a stream signal so as to generate a digital audio signal of a low frequency effect channel and digital audio signals of first through n'th (n≧2) channels; an adder section for adding the digital audio signal of the low frequency effect channel and the digital audio signal of a specified channel among the first through n'th channels, so as to generate an addition signal; an n number of D/A conversion sections for converting the digital audio signals of the first through n'th channels, excluding the digital audio signal of the specified channel, and the addition signal into n types of analog audio signals; a first signal processing section for generating a digital audio signal of the low frequency effect channel; and a second signal processing section for generating an analog audio signal of the specified channel.

A display system that is operable in the private mode and the public mode includes the display component in combination with an image panel. The display component includes a backlight unit that emits light from a non-viewing side of the display component toward a viewing side of the display component; a barrier and slit structure located on a viewing side of the backlight unit, the barrier and slit structure comprising a plurality of opaque barrier regions interspersed with a plurality of transparent slit regions; and a lens array of lens elements located on a viewing side of the barrier and slit structure, with the lens elements being located in a separate plane relative to the barrier regions, wherein the barrier and slit structure and the lens array operate to transmit light from the backlight unit collimated in a limited viewing angle range.

It is disclosed a packing-work station for packing articles, which belong to one picking order, into shipping units comprising: a packing device comprising a packing plane where the articles are stackable to an article stack; a stacking aid having a plurality of lateral sides against which the articles are positioned to form the article stack, wherein the stacking aid is configured to be positioned on the packing plane; and a measuring device for determining dimensions of the article stack in order to individually produce the shipping unit in accordance with the so-determined dimensions; wherein the lateral sides of the stacking aid, which are closed in a circumferential direction of the stacking aid, are connected to each other; wherein the lateral sides define an open bottom side as well as an open top side of the stacking aid, wherein the lateral sides are adjustable in length at least along the circumferential direction for positioning the lateral sides circumferentially compact against the article stack; and wherein the measuring device is configured to measure a length of the lateral sides of the stacking aid as well as to determine a maximum height of the article stack and the measured lengths as well as to transmit the so-determined height to a package-production device which produces the shipping unit in accordance with the measured lengths and the determined height.

The present invention relates to a method and radiation monitoring device (10) comprising at least one radiation detector (111), a memory (112) and a controller (12), wherein said radiation detector is arranged to detect at least one type of radiation dose. The memory (112) comprises a number of memory positions configured to store data resulting from said detector (111) detection. The positions are configured to store accumulated measured dose values corresponding to consecutive real time intervals. The controller is configured to continuously compute mean radiation dose values for measured and stored radiation doses during the predetermined time period and for each computation, a resulting mean value is compared with a corresponding predetermined reference value and generate a signal corresponding to result of said comparison.

The second electrode supporting body is a resilient film element supported on the first electrode supporting body by spaced-apart support sections. A pressure body includes two pressure projections that rest, in the region between the support sections, against the side of the second electrode supporting body facing away from the second electrode and that press against the second electrode supporting body while bending it when there is a relative movement between the first electrode supporting body and the second pressure body. The second electrode is secured to the second electrode supporting body only in a securing section substantially in the center between pressure regions at which the pressure projections rest against the second electrode supporting body.
