Abstract:
A system and method for providing an interactive shopping experience via webcam is disclosed. A particular embodiment includes enabling a user to select from a plurality of items of virtual apparel; obtaining an image of a user via a web-enabled camera (webcam); using a data processor to perform facial detection on the image to isolate an image of a face of the user; estimating the user's position according to a position and a size of the image of the user's face; modifying an image corresponding to the selected item of virtual apparel based on the size of the image of the user's face; and auto-fitting the modified image corresponding to the selected item of virtual apparel to the image of the user's face.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and system for text processing. The method comprises determining at least a part of characters in a text; dividing the text into a plurality of text segments by using the at least a part of characters as separators; and decoding the plurality of text segments respectively.
Abstract:
The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, a device and a network system for allocating an IP address. The allocating method comprises: allocating a first IP address to a first server; allocating a second IP address to a client connected to the first server; monitoring the client allocated with the second IP address; allocating a third IP address to the first server when a monitoring result indicates that an IP address conflict exists between the first IP address and a current IP address of a second server; wherein the second server is connected to the client allocated with the second IP address. The method may reallocate the IP address automatically when a subnet conflict occurs.
Abstract:
Various embodiments of solid-state conductors containing solid polymer electrolytes, electronic devices incorporating the solid-sate conductors, and associated methods of manufacturing are described herein. In one embodiment, a solid-state conductor includes poly(ethylene oxide) having molecules with a molecular weight of about 200 to about 8×106 gram/mol, and a soy protein product mixed with the poly oxide), the soy protein product containing glycinin and β-conglycinin and having a fine-stranded network structure. Individual molecules of the poly(ethylene oxide) are entangled in the fine-stranded network structure of die soy protein product, and the poly(ethylene oxide) is at least amorphous.

The compounds of formula I are novel and have excellent insecticidal and fungicidal activities and can be used for controlling insect pest and diseases.
Abstract:
A kind of pyrazolyl acrylniitrile compounds represented by the structures of formula I or stereoisomers thereof are disclosed in the present invention. Where in: R1 is selected from the group of substituents consisting of H, C1-C4 alkoxy C1-C2 alkyl, C3-C5 alkenyloxy C1-C2 alkyl, C3-C5 alknyloxy C1-C2 alkyl, C1-C4 alkylthio C1-C2 alkyl, C1-C5 alkyl carbonyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl carbonyl, C1-C5 alkoxy carbonyl or C1-C5 alkylthio carbonyl; R2 is Cl or methyl; R3 is H, methyl, CN, NO2 or halogen. Or its stereoisomers. The Formula I compounds have high insecticidal activities or acaricidal activities, so they can be used as insecticide or acaricide.
Abstract:
Described herein are hydrogen storage materials having desirable characteristics for a variety of applications, such as automobile applications. In one embodiment, a hydrogen storage material includes: (1) a mixed imide having a formula LiiMgjNkHl; and (2) a set of additives; wherein each of i, k, and l is in the range of 1.7 to 2.3, and j is in the range of 0.7 to 1.3; and wherein the hydrogen storage material is configured to absorb at least 3.1 wt. % of H2 within 30 minutes of exposure to H2 gas at a temperature in the range of 100° C. to 140° C. and a pressure in the range of 45 bar to 50 bar.
Abstract:
Use of an ubiquitination pathway-related factor, its agonist or antagonist in the preparation of a composition for regulating FOXP3, IL-2, and/or IFN-γ activity, in which the ubiquitination pathway-related factor is selected from: Toll-like receptor, ubiquitin ligase, pro-inflammatory cytokine family receptor, and/or its coding sequence. The new type of regulatory factors can regulate regulatory T cells and immune system by regulating FOXP3, IL-2, and/or IFN-γ activity. The regulatory factors and their derivatives can also be used as immunoadjuvant for treating or preventing major diseases (such as, infectious diseases and tumor, etc).
Abstract:
A parallax barrier for 3D display is provided. The parallax barrier includes barrier cells which are disposed successively. Each barrier cell includes first and second substrates, a liquid crystal layer, first and second insulation layers, and first and second conductive layers. The first and second substrates are disposed oppositely. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first and second substrates. The first and second conductive layers are disposed on the first and second substrates respectively. The second insulation layer and the first insulation layer are disposed on the second conductive layer in order. The first electrode layer is disposed between the liquid crystal layer and the second insulation layer and is electrically isolated from the second conductive layer. The second electrode layer is disposed between the liquid crystal layer and the second insulation layer and is electrically isolated from the second conductive layer.
