Abstract: A door system includes a controller for controlling the door system. A user computer system transmits information to the controller over a wireless connection to modify operating parameters for controlling the operation of the door system. During installation of the door system sensors may be utilized to determine if the door system has been installed properly. The sensors may be used to identify if the door system is mounted level and plum, and to review the movement, vibration, speed, acceleration, force, or the like of the sensors, and thus, the components to which the sensors are operatively coupled in order to make adjustments to the door assembly. Furthermore, the operating parameters of the installed door system, may be cloned and provided to other door systems in order to quickly clone and distribute the operating parameters of one or more door systems to one or more other door systems.

Abstract: A patch fitting coverplate or cap for a patch fitting that extends a pivot point centerline of the patch fitting. The patch fitting coverplate may be constructed as a retrofit cover to integrate a patch fitting of one standard pivot point centerline to a door pane of another standard pivot point centerline. A patch fitting assembly including the patch fitting coverplate and patch fitting may also include buffers to fill in the interior portion between the extended patch fitting coverplate and the patch fitting. The patch fitting may be tapered at an edge close to the pivot axis of the door pane for smooth actuation of the door pane.

Abstract: During operation of the door system one or more sensors may be utilized in order to monitor the operation of the door assembly (e.g., door system, door, frame, etc.), review the operating parameters, troubleshoot potential issues, schedule and monitor service requests, review and take actions for potential security threats, and/or the like. Consequently, users may determine if the door system operates the door in accordance with the desired operating parameters by reviewing the movement, vibration, speed, acceleration, force, or the like based on the sensor information captured and use the information to adjust the door assembly. Notifications regarding the operation of the door systems may be sent automatically and/or in response to requests from users. The users may utilize one or more applications and interfaces thereof to remotely connect to the door systems in order to review and analyze the sensor information and take the desired actions.

Abstract: Door operator systems are described herein that include the use of an adaptor. It should be understood that the adaptor may be utilized in order to operatively couple separate door operator assemblies together in a double door operator system. The adaptor may include control components (e.g., switches, buttons, toggles, levers, or the like) that are used to turn the door operator system on and off. While the adaptor may be used to operatively couple two separate door operator assemblies together to form a double door operator system, the adaptor may also be used within a single door operator system. Abstract: A privacy system for sliding doors that that has an upper privacy assembly and side privacy assemblies for coving gaps between a sliding door and walls and/or door frames of a door opening. The upper privacy assembly has a first upper member on a door and a second upper member on a wall or frame, and the first upper member will slide with respect to the second upper member when the sliding door moves. The one or more side privacy assemblies has a first side member on the door and a second side member on the wall and/or door frame that engage and disengage. When the sliding door is in the closed position, the engagement between the first upper member and the second upper member, and the first side members and second side members, aid in restricting light from passing through gaps between the door and wall and/or frame.

Abstract: A patch fitting cover or cap for a patch fitting creates a substantially continuous surface toward a glass door pane using an inclined wall of the cover/cap. The patch fitting cover may be attached to a patch fitting to improve the accessibility of an associated glass door. The cover may be constructed as a retrofit cover to replace an existing patch fitting cover. The cap may be constructed to cooperate with an existing patch fitting cover such that the cap is installed on the existing patch fitting cover.
