Abstract:
A method for managing a broken node in a wireless personal area network (WPAN) game includes broadcasting alive check data for checking states of nodes from a master node having opened the WPAN game in a standby state of the WPAN game; receiving alive response data to the alive check data from the nodes; and having not received the alive response data from one of the nodes, determining that node as a broken node and broadcasting information as to the broken node to the other nodes. Other methods for managing a broken node in a WPAN game are also provided.
Abstract:
A mobile communication terminal having a first body and a second body rotatably coupled by a hinge assembly, and a mode selector that sets an operation mode of the mobile communication terminal based on an angle between the first body and the second body. The mode selector includes a rotation part that enables the detection of an angle between the first body and the second body, and a setting part, movably mounted on the rotation part, which sets an operation mode of the mobile communication terminal corresponding to the detected angle when the setting part is moved into contact with a holding part.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a juice extraction module for juice capable of fundamentally blocking the introduction of dregs which degrade a texture of food when being mixed with the juice and certainly maintaining airtightness. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a dregs blocking part which isolates between a bottom surface of a juice extraction mesh and a bottom of the container maintains airtightness to fundamentally block the introduction of dregs into the juice, thereby improving a texture of food.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a micro-fluidic system including a lower substrate, an upper substrate formed opposite to the lower substrate and formed with an air injection path, and a micro-fluidic device interposed between the upper and lower substrates, wherein the micro-fluidic chamber includes a fluid chamber filled with a fluid and the fluidic chamber is physically connected to the air injection path.
Abstract:
A juice extraction module for a juicer is provided, which includes a container formed with a juice discharge port, a sieve positioned inside of the container, a screw positioned inside of the sieve to extract juice from a material, and a lid coupled to a top end of the container and formed with a input port through which the material is input. The juice extraction module includes a crushing portion formed on a top end of the screw to be narrowed upward, the crushing portion having a crushing blade formed thereon; and a crushing processing portion connected to the input port and formed in a bottom of the lid to be concave for accommodating the crushing portion.

Abstract:
A broadcasting program storing method of a mobile communication terminal and a mobile communication terminal using the same are disclosed. The method includes according to an embodiment allocating and storing a presently receiving broadcasting stream to and in at least one time section of a plurality of time sections while playing a broadcasting stream, and selecting at least one time section from the plural time sections to reproduce a broadcasting stream allocated to the selected time section. Thus, the broadcasting stream can be stored in real time while viewing the broadcasting program and the stored broadcasting stream can be easily searched for or reproduced.
Abstract:
A device and method for adaptively controlling a turn-on time of a transceiver so that power consumption is reduced. The device includes a transceiver for receiving a beacon frame broadcasted by a coordinator which coordinates devices, and a controller for determining whether a period of the beacon frame is changed by checking period information in the received beacon frame. The device further includes a beacon frame arrival-time estimation part for estimating an arrival-time of a next beacon frame to be received, based on the changed period information of the beacon frame, a time-error estimation part for estimating a time-errors of the coordinator and the device based on the changed period information of the beacon frame, and a turn-on time estimation part for estimating a turn-on time of a transceiver based on the estimated beacon frame arrival-time and the estimated time-errors.
Abstract:
A method for packet re-flooding in a wireless ad hoc network for transmitting a broadcast packet from a source node to a destination node. In order to determine the respective nodes received with the broadcast packet from the source node into a certain number of power levels in accordance with the receiving power of the signal carrying the received packet, the packet re-flooding method includes the steps of setting a power level reference by which the power level increases as the receiving power increases, obtaining the receiving power of the signal carrying the packet received from the respective nodes but not the source node, determining power levels based on the power level reference and the obtained receiving power, calculating a back-off delay time in accordance with the power levels of the respective nodes but not the source node, and re-flooding the received packet when the calculated back-off delay time of the respective nodes excluding the source node expires and when the received packet is the first packet that is received. Accordingly, the possibility of having collisions due to re-flooding of the respective nodes is reduced, and also, overall power consumption of the network decreases.
