摘要: A computer device may include a memory storing instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to select a broadcast method for a wakeup signal for a wireless communication device; instruct a base station to broadcast the wakeup signal using the selected broadcast method; and provide information identifying the selected broadcast method to the wireless communication device. The processor may be further configured to receiving a wakeup request from a machine-type communication interworking function (MTC-IWF) device; map the received wakeup request to a wakeup signature beacon signal associated with the wireless communication device; and instruct the base station to transmit a wakeup signature beacon signal to the wireless communication device based on the received wakeup request.

摘要: A BLE network includes a first piconet including a first master scanner and a first group of low-power slave/advertisers for transmitting wireless advertisements. Circuitry in the first master/scanner wirelessly scans to detect an advertisement transmitted by a first slave/advertiser of the first group and transmits a connection request in response to the detecting, and transmits a schedule for subsequent advertisements after an initial advertisement by the first slave/advertiser. Circuitry in the first slave/advertiser transmits the initial advertisement, receives an acceptance a resulting connection request, establishes association with the first master scanner, and then causes the first slave/advertiser to go to sleep, to wake up and transmit subsequent advertisements according to the schedule and accept resulting connection requests, and transmits available data to the first master/scanner, and goes back to sleep.

摘要: A method performed by a first transceiver device in D2D communication with second transceiver devices in a cellular network comprises transmitting a reference signal comprising an identity of the first transceiver device, and receiving feedback messages from the second transceiver devices, where a feedback message comprises the identity of the first and an identity of the second transceiver device, and channel characteristics of a radio channel between the first and the second transceiver device, where the channel characteristics are estimated by the second transceiver device. The method further comprises deciding, based on the feedback messages, whether a second transceiver device should be included in a set of intended devices to which the first transceiver device will perform a transmission of a communication signal. The method also comprises performing a transmission of the communication signal to the set of intended devices, where the transmission is adapted to the set of intended devices based on the feedback messages received from the intended devices.

摘要: Techniques to manage updates for eSIMs of a secondary wireless device are disclosed. Responsive to a user input, expiration of a timer, receipt of a message from an associated primary wireless device, processing circuitry of the secondary wireless device commands an eUICC to update an eSIM. A secure data connection is established between the eUICC and a network provisioning server, either directly from the secondary wireless device to a cellular wireless network or relayed indirectly via the primary wireless device. The eUICC and the network provisioning server exchange messages in accordance with a BIP process to update the eSIM. The eUICC provides a status to the processing circuitry indicating success or failure for the eSIM update. Upon success, a portion of the secondary wireless device may be placed in a reduced power state. Upon failure, the eSIM update process may repeat up to a maximum number of retries.

摘要: A wireless resource scheduling method and device for NAN are disclosed. The wireless resource scheduling method for NAN can comprise the steps of: determining switching from a WiFi mode to a NAN mode by a NAN terminal of an AP function; when the NAN terminal of the AP function determines the switching to the NAN mode, transmitting a CTS-to-self frame on the WiFi mode by the NAN terminal of the AP function; switching from the WiFi mode to the NAN mode by the NAN terminal of the AP function; and transmitting, by the NAN terminal of the AP function, a NAN frame to a NAN terminal on the NAN mode, wherein the WiFi mode supports communication on the basis of a BSS and the NAN mode can support communication on the basis of a NAN cluster.

摘要: This document discloses a solution where power management of devices of a wireless networks are controlled in connection with an absence period. According to an aspect, an apparatus determines at least one allowable power management mode for at least a second apparatus; causes transmission of a first frame indicating the at least one allowable power management mode; and causes transmission of an indication of an absence period during which it is not possible to transfer frames with the apparatus, wherein the indication is provided in at least one of the first frame and a second frame. The first frame configures at least the second apparatus to be ready to communicate with the apparatus at the end of the absence period in a case where the at least one allowable power management mode indicates a first power management mode.

The radio-frequency module and the modem module operate either in a first operation mode or in a second operation mode. The control unit, coupled to the RF and the modem module, generates a control signal to indicate to the RF and the modem module to operate in the first operation mode or to operate in the second operation mode. A first set of signal formats corresponding to the first operation mode is a superset of a second set of signal formats corresponding to the second operation mode, and a first power consumption corresponding to the first operation mode is higher than a second power consumption corresponding to the second operation mode.
